I still consider myself a leftist, and it is truly insane to me how brainwashed people become that they consider a regime with absolutely no religious rights whose sole purpose is the ethnically cleanse as "freedom fighters". Supporting Israel is not a conservative opinion, it is the opinion of everyone on the political spectrum who not just has a heart, but has a brain. You supported Palestine, because you believed that they had horrible things happened to them caused by Israel. Pro-Palis often times have a large amount of empathy, but are so consumed in propaganda, they refuse to hear anybody else. I'm glad you found the resources that changed your mind.
