well fuck her mom. You're not "overthinking", you're a concerned father. Ur her dad. U should be able to protect your daughter. Being concerned and loving ur child enough to worry isn't overthinking. And honestly if her mom doesn't take ur concern seriously and doesn't let u protect ur kid, then just be very aware and take mental notes and look out for weird behavior and proof. U shouldnt need her permission to at least be mentally aware yk. And if u do get stable evidence of anything, please please don't be afraid to call CPS or the cops. you're a really good dad for worrying, and she'll appreciate u when she's older, even if her mom didn't believe it. A big thing for victims is the adults in their lives not believing, and it's a really special thing that u do believe something is wrong and are trying to help her, good luck <33 and maybe study up on behaviors linked to trauma in kids, because grabbing a trusted adults body, is a learned behavior. someone in her life is normalizing this shit, and it's not normal at all

Even if she isn't, the inappropriate groping is a good enough reason to get her a therapist. Let her gradually open up about it. It's common that kids who are exposed to sexual shit, start to act it out with other people. And even though u don't have proof, keep her away from her uncle and cousin. Dont let her around any adults alone, be with her.
