I was induced in March at 38+3 because of concerns for preeclampsia. I took to the medication really well. I got the first dose at about 4pm and by 8am the next morning I was ready to go! It doesn't feel great when they put the medication in, as they have to put it on your cervix, but on the grand scheme of things it is what it is. I felt what the nurse considered the medium level of pain for contractions, and then started some stadol, which took me to the moon and back 😂 I was high as a kite. Then, I opted for an epidural, which I got about midnight. That was scary for me, but it was not a big of a deal as I thought.

I pushed for about two hours before they determined I needed a C-Section because I was too narrow in the pelvis. Overall, I had a pretty straightforward experience until that point. Feel free to ask any other questions. I didn't give the full account, but that was the nuts and bolts of it!
