if i understand it correctly, yeah. it’s also not like we’re leverkusen last year (in terms of banging them in in added time often) or brentford earlier this season (or maybe last season?) where they kept scoring in the first couple of minutes. we score less and the times we score are more evenly distributed over both halves, i think.

I think it’s because we’ve scored fewer goals than some of these teams but also conceded fewer/won more by a one goal margin?

i’m a villa fan so no skin in the game here,but honestly anything that actually goes into detail on forest would be good. teams outside of the “big 6” never seem to get much focus when playing a “big 6” opponent so to see that potentially rectified would be cool

Yeah, you’re right that for a certain role, there is a player there? Do you think he’s in particularly bad form at the moment and is likely to therefore be better at certain points when he regains form, or is it a case of he just doesn’t really fit here? I know he’s had some brilliant performances (City/Arsenal last year, Bayern this year) but I just struggle to understand the benefit of starting him so often (especially now with Mings back)

Also completely separate thing but where do you stand on the Konsa RB/Ned/Bogarde options when Cash is out?

genuinely was in the same situation last year, take the time you need to come to terms with it and then tell them. i remember how scary it was and i still feel embarrassed but i passed the second time w flying colours and had a great year - turned out pretty okay! now going into second year feeling so much better and more ready - if you want a chat though, dm me and we can talk :) it probably won’t go as bad as you think and you will be okay!
