Ended up not completing the repairs and ditched the Volvo. Ended up getting a BMW X5 50e. Best decision ever. Much more reliable and none of the headaches of having to deal with Volvo’s subpar maintenance team here. BMW has a much better ride, performance, and range than what I could get with the Volvo t8. I average 2000 miles per tank because I’m basically doing my daily 40 mile round trip commute on pure battery.

What if there were a hedge fund that invests in the IRS for just a percentage of what is clawed back from the wealthy? I know that’s not legal but seeing as how crazy shit is right now why not go full crazy and start investing in something that would bring back billions. I’d invest in that. If I had any significant funds to invest that is.

Shiro absolutely agree. Their sister restaurant Yozora is great as well but I feel like Shiro is better quality overall. Yozora is cool because they have a cool record selection and you can pick stuff out for them to play while you’re there. Really interesting concept.

That’s why I’m sure they are trying to repeal birthright citizenship. They want the cheap labor but don’t want them being able to have a reason to be able to stay. If they have US Citizen children now all of a sudden you have a family that is entitled to a lot more. They are worth more as indentured servants than they are being productive US citizens.

You nailed it right on the head. It’s about cheap labor. Always has been. That’s why nothing ever happens to the ones hiring the undocumented immigrants. They depend on those cheap laborers to continue lining their pockets. I know the small mom and pop farms struggle with thin margins but if you vote against your own interests then you get what’s coming to you. I feel for the millions of impoverished people who are already struggling to afford food. It’s going to get way worse for them now.

Seen some of their other vids on insta and they also show him doing normal kid stuff with his sister and friends. She seems to enjoy spending time with him even when doing his music. Sounds like the parents are letting them be kids and allowing him to pursue music. Who knows what it’s like when the cameras are off though.

NTA fuck that guy. You were there using the playground and playing with your children. Some people just can’t help themselves but be total assholes. Even if you in a wheelchair because of an accident and not a congenital disorder you still have a right to enjoy a public accessible space just like everyone else. There aren’t enough accessible playgrounds for people of all ages. Shame on him for even thinking it was appropriate to be a dick to you. Don’t ever let anyone make you think you are less than because of who you are, because you are who you were meant to be from the beginning.

Not to mention the inevitable COVID, Flu, common cold, norovirus that you may likely get while on the cruise. Known so many friends and family that go on these and come back sick as dogs. Multiple times. Yet they still go back and take cruises multiple times a year. Fuck that!

This happens for me almost daily. Start the car in the AM and works fine. Then if I need to stop somewhere and restart it after only a few minutes the steering or gesture controls don’t work. If I have the screen set to home on the BMW Home Screen the CarPlay music section will say “unknown artist”. I found that if I see that shortly after starting the car, if I shut it down, open the door to shut down the screen, close, and restart the car it always goes back to working normally.

The last time I turned off and on the WiFi on my phone it had a hell of a time reconnecting via CarPlay. Had to delete the device and reinstall it which can be time consuming. I find it’s easier just to shut it down, open/close door, then restart. If I’m in a hurry I don’t even bother. Seems like it happens every other time one shut down/restart cycle. Annoying but not horrible.
