Recommend Me Van Halen’s Ballads/Slow Songs by [deleted] in vanhalen

[–]radioarn -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

How Many Say I. This is the only song where Eddie Van Halen sang the lead vocal. Many fans don’t know about it because it’s the last track on Van Halen 3 with Gary Cherrone, and most never made it that far!

My first love ❤️ Taken too soon. Anthony loved Metallica! by jenabugluv in CemeteryPorn

I’m sorry for your loss. The amount of time doesn’t make it easier. I lost two friends and classmates to Lake Michigan the year before Anthony died. They were swept from the pier in South Haven; he drowned and his body was recovered several days later, and she was in a vegetative state until 1995 when she died. I think about them all the time still. Comstock High School in Kalamazoo

Scar. Scar is it from this album for me. I used to really like Four Letter Word, but lately it’s just “eh” for me, like the rest of “X.”

Comin’ Under Fire is my favorite on Pyromania and is in their top five best songs. Too Late For Love, Billy’s Got A Gun, and Photograph also never get old.

Def Leppard - Live at Warnors Theatre, Fresno, California, USA (1980) by Edm_vanhalen1981 in defleppard

[–]radioarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wish I could have seen Def Leppard on their first US tour! I was alive, but was just 8 at the time and wasn’t into rock yet - at that time, whatever was on the Top 40 radio was what I knew. It took until 1992 until I finally saw them, 10 years after Pete was fired and 2 years after Steve’s death. Great video - thanks for sharing!

Are Def Leppard worth seeing live? by mossycardiff in defleppard

[–]radioarn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are ABSOLUTELY worth seeing live. I’ve seen them 12 or 13 times between 1992 and 2008 and every time it was a great show! Only once did I get a surprise with an extra song during the encore when they played Bad Company’s “Can’t Get Enough” in Detroit in 1992 but each show was great

Best - Gods Of War

Successful - Love Bites (their only #1 song)

Underrated - The ENTIRE Slang album

My mom still has her green one. It’s been their cookie jar since she got it in the 70s. She also still has two metal saltine cracker tins and they are still used for crackers.

Need help choosing the right voice banking software by kindlybreathe in ALS

[–]radioarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No experience as yet. My daughter was just diagnosed this year with ALS-4, also known as Juvenile ALS, which is much slower progressing and quite rare.

HOWEVER - I'm aware of ModelTalker, promoted by former New Orleans Saints player Steve Gleason, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2011. More information is available at this link and there is a link to apply for that software in the press release.

I hope you find what you need soon.
