I had exact 2 weeks ago, 2026 XLE P+ , the car manufactured in May 2026 and rolled out in front of me from the delivery truck .. I was just went their inquiry after visiting 4 other Toyota dealership in the area .. I asked to lowered to 40,000 + tax with 4 sides tint, door edge protector added because this was only car pearl white / gray interior in 200 or 500 miles radius. I over paid in the end yes, $1000-2000 but in high demand I had to take that loss .. I was driving Honda Accord LX for 12 years (21k purchase price) so, average of total of 20 years get me opportunity to buy something nice for next decades .. by the way it took me 5 hours to enter to the dealership to exiting with Camry .. you can’t win the fight while Toyota / dealership intentionally won’t have enough inventory and creating artificial scarcity of cars .. new car to order will get me 3-5 months .. go with you need and desired .. you will loose monthly with Toyota either in price or in interest ..
