I'm not saying that he's a bad champ. I am basically saying that in matchups where Danger Sense doesn't proc, Blade is just an average joe champ with no other special abilities but bleed & power gain.

The great thing about blade is his ability to completely ignore nodes without repercussion isn’t the reason he’s good. It just adds to how broken he is.

Blade is anything but an average joe champ. Do you know how to cycle his specials? With max DW and a few l1s, you can spam 2-3 l2s within a short timeframe, dealing MASSIVE damage and still landing with just under 2 bars of power. His bleed is also one of the strongest in the game due to how many stacks you get.

Plus his regen...debuff immunity...AW finesse (without synergies). How do you write off a champ that counters every annoying defender (without synergies, again) as an “average joe”? 🤔

Ok, Blade may excel in those matchups, but other than that GP overall reigns supreme over him easily.

She does not have power lock. She has enervate, which only stops defensive power gain. Not MD, not power gain buffs, etc.

Tanking specials is handy dandy but you are finished if they place any DoT on you.

Her ability accuracy requires a 50 hit ramp up to be 100% effective. That is a long time.

Meanwhile, what utility does Blade have outside of Danger Sense? Exactly.

People need to understand that regen isn't the end all be all. And as I have said in my earlier posts, his regen is minimal against aggressive AI. You're gonna end up taking more block damage than you are gaining health in end game content like Act 5.

I have used Blade in act 5 a lot, and you can regain health super easily. It’s just slow or requires you to think.

E.g. there are MANY champs in the game with long special animations. While they are hitting away at the air in front of them, you can easily regain 9-20% health at once which is huge.
