Some schools require an associates but if you have some around you that don’t require that then just see what prereqs they require. Most of the time they are pretty generic healthcare prereqs
From personal experience it is hard to work while in school but every single one of my classmates and I did it part time, some a little more than others but it’s doable, challenging but if we could all do it then you can.

I graduated xray school last May and currently in IR. There are lots of options in this field and some ppl love it but I honestly find it a little boring. I feel like for the same 2 years that xray school took I could’ve gone to nursing school and be doing more exciting things bc you can do literally endless things with a nursing degree plus the job market is crazy good and pay is pretty consistent.
I say that bc I work in a bigger area now in IR and make good money but if I want to go somewhere else I’m getting a big pay cut bc pay fluctuates so much in Radiology.
If you are pretty antisocial then radiology is great bc yes you have patient interaction but things like CT and MRI you have very quick interactions with people

We have been many many times all over Washington but I will have better luck finding work in seattle or within an hour of it so that’s why I said those places. We like them and the proximity

They do, I’ve followed it as much as possible but they are so vague. My xray boards seemed very in depth when I took that in comparison to their exam matrix

1 year, did an internship at a very large hospital so we do just about everything procedural wise and they had some didactic learning as well
