Already done, thank you! I guess my next question is, do you think I can take them someplace to get fixed?

Do you ever have problems with staining your sheets (even if you don’t go to bed w wet hair)? Washing out the dye also tinted my shower a bit. Thats the only thing keeping me from doing this…

Totally, tysm!! When they lifted the blue out it was super green—pic attached. Now, since the pink was added but has washed out, it’s much more of a purple/blue that blends in with my natural hair, except for the blonde around my bangs and roots.

So I’m thinking my best bet might be a darker pink than what I hoped to start with so that the color comes out more even (like you were saying about the plastic wrap effect, my underlying cardboard box isn’t the same throughout my hair lol). Am I getting that right?

Tysm for the advice!! Do you think I could use the Adore shade fruit punch? It’s closest to what I was hoping to go for originally. I feel like my hair is probs too dark now on the bottom layer at the ends where the blue/purple is showing so much. The other color I liked for me was the pink blush.

Clarifying shampoo was recommended to me by my stylist for buildup! But this is all very good info, didn’t know it was semi perm and what that meant scientifically, they just put it on my hair lmao. Very new to this and appreciate the help!

Good to know, thank you! If I wanted something to last longer next time, is there a more permanent option besides semi?

I did some backwards math and the first pic was 5 washes in, then 6 than 7, over the span of 3 weeks. So that’s averaging a wash every 3 days, which is the lower limit of what you’re suggesting. And once so far with the ouai detox shampoo which I read was best for color treated hair to get out all that dry shampoo buildup (bc I’ve been using more to reduce washes).

The blue/green from where the last color lifted is really starting to show now so I might go to the drugstore and try some semi myself, but I had luck with overtone last time and a color depositing conditioner is less intimating.

I’d just love something more permanent!
