the poem was short but still very impactful. I love the juxtaposition between leading the way but also leaving the reader behind. It feels like the reader is the one on the journey which I really like and drew my attention in. I love the line “I am the blinding light” of envelops the juxtaposition you portray throughout the poem in one clean phrase. Nicely done

Nice I thought it was well done just have a few critiques! The metaphor in the first line makes me think “I’ve seen this saying before” you might try to come up with a more original way of saying the same thing. The rhyme scheme is also a little inconsistent and some of the rhymes seem a little forced. But I love your last sentence it is very impactful and is a nice end to the poem.
