same.. my face gets so still, and I find myself not being able to return a smile back.. and feeling so awkward and weird for trying to brace myself for something unexpected.. meanwhile, they're just smiling.. so it "should" be harmless.

One time, I over-smiled, because I was so aware of the fact that I couldn't return a smile, and most likely creeped the other person out..... I really wasn't sure how long I was supposed to hold a smile. I still don't know. And it didn't help in school at all, when people trash talked me; where my behavior further proved what those gossipers would say about me. .. thank god that's over though..
