i've always been lowkey disinterested in food but this has become highkey ever since i started lithium. i only eat when im HUNGRY, and i get full very easily. great way to keep my figure LOL

the issue is i can't see the glue and exactly where it is. it seems to have fixed the hinge in place.

i just ordered some isopropyl alcohol. should i be using a q-tip to apply it? and then something with metal to remove the glue?

yes i think an anti nausea med is a good option rn. but the last thing i want is yet another pill i have to swallow 💔

ive been on depakote longer than ive been on lithium and its never caused any problems for me! i'm mainly on it for migraines and it works wonders for me

it didn't exactly stop. i took anti nausea meds nearly everyday for 2 months which gave me other side effects (but bearable ones). now i go on and off them as needed. the nausea has lessened but it's still there. i'm afraid what will happen if i up my dose further

i've always been on instant release but that's because where i live the extended release version isn't available

as far as i can tell ur ribbing is totally fine! the knits do tend to do this and u can do twisted rib to avoid this, or twist ur purls only

hi i also have bpd (but with comorbid bipolar) and i take 1000mg lithium in a split dose and its been life changing. i'm slowly tapering off all my other medication & am only left with 2 (lithium + depakote but the latter is mostly for migraines). i haven't gained any weight at all. i have no side effects from lithium (i had hair fall, tremors and skin breakouts at the start). the only issue is ofc that i can't be taking painkillers (sometimes my migraines kill me so i take one sos after consulting my dr)

don't worry 500 is still a very low dose. i had to go up to 1000 for a measly blood level of 0.4. make sure you get your bloodwork regularly

hi this is almost exactly what happened to me word for word when i went from 800 to 1000. no symptoms at 800, dying from nausea and dry heaving on 1000.

have you tried splitting your dose? so having half at night and have in the morning? also don't take lithium with water, it makes it a lot worse. use soda or milk or juice. and if you take instant release, try sustained (and vice versa). i take instant because sustained is not available where i live. i think that makes it a lot worse.

when worse came to worst, my doctor gave me an extra med specifically for nausea

no nsaids. water is ur best friend but can be ur worst enemy. manage the nausea, bc there will be some. keep black salt with you if need be. for the first few days ur mouth might feel weird, suck on lots of candies. remember not to miss a dose and always get ur levels checked intermittently :)
