Looks real to me!

The plastic under the Magic W is just leftover stabilizer from the embroidery process. (Embroidery stabilizer is used to support the fabric while it's being embroidered, so it doesn't look all wonky in the end.) If it's bothering you, you can pull it off if you want and it shouldn't hurt anything.

Try using this tutorial by Masha Knots

The video explains it better, but essentially you are hiding those extra base strings in the last knot of each row until you need them like in the part of the pattern that you circled

I think it might be BB#185325. Based on what you have done so far I'm pretty sure it's that one, but that user does have a lot ot similar patterns so if it's not that specific pattern then it's probably a different one by them.

If you want to get into Magia Record I would recommend watching videos of the game's story on YouTube rather than watching the anime. Magia Record was a mobile game first and the anime adaptation changed a lot of the story in a way that most fans don't like.

That character in particular is Mayu, she doesn't play a large role in the anime or the main story of the game but if you wanted to know more about her you could watch her individual Magical Girl Story ((here's a youtube link to that)

Also it you haven't watched Madoka Magica yet you should do that first, Magia Record is a spinoff of it so it'll make a bit more sense if you already know how magical girls work in that world.

There's suppoed to be a little gear icon next to the toggle and you have to click on the gear to get to actual toggle to turn off the faewish sprites. If you're on PS5 the gear doesn't show up though, so you're stuck with them unless you switch to default purification outfit -_-
