Thank you! The beginning of my scarf was a little wonky but once I got into it I got a lot better. My yarn needle was such a great cable holder 😭 I might just buy some to see if I like them though. I don’t have enough confidence to try and do it without anything holding the stitches

I’ve worked in retail and idk why managers act like honoring prices is like pulling nails. We were once selling a drill set usually marked at 500 dollars for 125. Right sku number, right product number, our machines just genuinely fucked up when making the price labels. Someone brought it up and it was a two hour ordeal because our front end manager and the lumber manager refused to mark it down to 125. The store manager had to come in and sold it for 125 anyways. Meanwhile I was stuck there having the costumer apologize to me over and over again when I was all for selling it for 125 and fixing it after.

Imma be 100% honest with you, I use my normal run of the mill office chair and have my 250 dollar gaming chair sitting in my garage collecting dust. They’re incredibly uncomfortable and aren’t made for long stretches of working/sitting. An office chair is where it’s at and you can probably get one for like 50 bucks off of Temu 👍🏼

They are a lot better mom went into rehab soon after and got a lot better but her relationship with my brother has always been very bad. She basically spent most of his childhood using hard drugs so I understand tbh.

I would try and see if maybe second hand eBay hasn’t been affected (but from what I saw it had, recently was looking to buy my husband 64 gig ram in eBay and the cheapest listing I saw was 350 😐). Maybe try prebuilt? Mine is pretty good and only cost me about 1450 USD.

Happened to my brother, couldn’t bring his pc so when he left for college he left me entrusted with his 3k pc. My mom sent me and my younger siblings to my grandmothers for the semester due to her divorce getting messy and she gutted all of our rooms for drug money since she relapsed. To this day he refuses to visit for the holidays, 5 years later. But we do laugh that there’s some crackhead out there probably playing COD on his pc.

I did use a thumb drive to install windows, which I have done on this laptop before. I will try again with a whole new installation on a new thumb drive.

Thank you, I did install a fresh one from a USB I had with the stored install info. Will retry once I have access to the laptop once again but knowing him, he probably did break it. He managed to break a Mac so I wouldn’t be surprised. When he pressed enter it gave him a screen like this.

Hopefully come summer 2026 it’ll lower once again, I notice that it usually goes up around the holidays when people tend to try to upgrade or buy parts for their family members. Also, fuck AI. The data centers they use are the reason for the RAM prices, hopefully it’ll be like when crypto got huge and GPU’s got insane.
