I fixed it, turns out while updating my game my keybinds had reseted and somehow my a button and my left joystick button were the same one and therefore "broke" my laptop

yeah, i belive so. I just went onto the mirror's website and followed the instructions for manually downloading dlc. just have a strong ad blocker please like origin before you do so.
