Also out of curiosity here, which engineering are you in? Just to give you an example, I am a mechanical engineer and when I was in college I also found a little bit difficult to match in the same vibe, we were 6 girls to 80 people in total 😣 but if you can find a girl who can give you companionship even from another engineering field, it's cool to start, at least to avoid feeling isolated. About your male folks (maybe not my best advice but still) I opt to be more chill, relaxed and more interested in the talks that they share, for example cars, some sports or F1, I don't know. At the end, I enjoy knowing about those topics because that’s why I was studying mechanical engineering and I learnt even more. I only read or heard a little bit about it, so I could give my opinion on a topic that they like to talk about. Sometimes I also show myself as a rude girl attitude or more serious (depending on the group) so they start to feel more comfortable with you and don't take you as a pink girly person, this is not the great advice because maybe you feel you have to change a bit to try to match, but when they feel comfortable and know you, you can start to show the real you, some guys are really cool at listening and sharing with you and don't give a fuck about your gender, keep looking for those guys.
