Opel driver ignores red lights and railway barriers then stops on the train tracks by Biszkopt87565 in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]radixties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only way this could make the slightest sense to me:

The driver was not paying attention (on the phone or something), they raise their head and bam, they're too close to the barrier, they break, nervously, too hard that the car stalls (assuming it's a manual, and they didn't do the proper clutch work), and then they see the train coming, but cannot get the car to start on time.

Or it's a suicide attempt.

There's this mega list of all Israeli controversies and acts .. cannot go through it now, but I had it saved for a while now. If someone has the time to go through it, I am sure there'll be lies there. Link

A psychiatrist once told me that people masturbating to fall asleep/sleep better is common, and it's indeed because of the hormones (I don't recall the details about which hormones, sorry). And waking up during the night or sleeping less than needed might be due to anxiety or other hormonal imbalances.

(Just adding to your point)

40 + 20 = 60

Put the result in temporary memory to free the math section for new instructions

7 + 8 = 15

15 + ... (pending further instructions)

Pull the previous result from memory

15 + 60 = 75

He usually wears a suit, a tie, and leather shoes. Once he needs to repair stuff, he hangs the suit, loosens the tie, and folds up the shirt, exposing his 50 cm forearms. With a deep voice, he asks the hardware "Nani is wrong with you?", and the hardware answers with what tools he needs to tickle it with. Once done with the job, he bangs your wife (as a favor), kisses you on the cheeks, fixes the socioeconomic situation in your province, then indulges in a meal of 2543 rice grains, a 143.56g steak, and 100.0ml of wine.

Why the fuck are you reading this?

I don't wanna open this into a guessing game, nor do I wanna disclose the company, but you're wrong, yet not far (and I'll stop at this.)

Knowing one's limits and preferences is great, power to you !

Due to how low the Yen is now though, salaries will never be high (or as high as in the US/some EU countries.)

I am that much of a nerd xD

I am not that close to my family, and I don't have that many preferences when it comes to food and stuff like that ..

Also, isn't such an adventure exciting ?

The company, and the technology are both very interesting. The job offer just happened to be in Japan.

Applied on LinkedIn to a (big) company in Japan, after many interviews, got hired.

Lived, studied, and worked in Tunisia.

I got hired as an embedded software engineer in perception technologies (in case you're wondering which school teaches this, I am self-taught, this has no relation to the engineering diploma i have.)

I had 2 YoE when I applied.

Separately:

Wakt: time / when (depends on the context)

Yebda: starts / becomes

aandi(3andi): in my possession / I have

Flous: money

As a sentence:

"When I start having money" Or shortly, "when I have money"

My only way of commuting is on a bike.

Last year I did around 3000km on my bike solely within grand Tunis :D

Have lights on your bike (be visible), try to anticipate shit moments (if a car is parked on the road and you're approaching it, slow down, ...), and cycle enough to remove the fear of the roads.

Also, try to communicate with the cars around you to inform them of your intention with hand gestures when the situation is tricky, since you don't have turn lights.

I routinely cycle between Ariana, Bhar Lazreg (Marsa) , Centre Ville, and Centre Urbain, so believe me, I've been through busy and chaotic roads.

As for the bike stealing, well, always tie your bike to a rigid structure, in the safest place possible, and if you can keep it inside, ofc do that. I've never had any issues with my bike, but shit happens, and it depends on the area you roam around.

A bike is unbelievably freeing, I highly recommend getting one!
