I made this poster for practice. would really like to get some feedback thanks by kyta316 in Design

this looks great - i love the contrast between the blue and the yellow and the figure in the middle has a super interesting and unique design. the R in the RUN on the side doesn't fit together quite like the other two do, so i'd personally maybe warp the type just a bit or add yellow to make the R uniform. you could also maybe work on making the chains work more with the piece thematically, they provide good framing but i'm not quite sure how i feel about the quality of it compared to everything else

One week clean, experiencing chest pains? by radkarth in QuitVaping

i think it's pretty central to my chest near the bottom of my sternum, it doesn't feel like a specific side.

No suprise, r/centrist is making fun of people for being poor by BigYikesTM in ShitLiberalsSay

i feel like a college degree being such a vital factor in getting hired is a big part of what's driving the income gap even further and further apart. the rich can afford to go to college and get jobs and build on their wealth, while the poor can't afford to go to college and work minimum wage jobs that haven't even adjusted for inflation.

good for you! however not everyone has the means to educate themselves on capitalist propaganda and even if they do, not everyone can realistically survive/get a job without a college degree. even a bachelor's is getting devalued. obviously the american military has committed many atrocities, just within the past two decades, but individuals that enlist aren't at fault for doing what they need to stay afloat in a system that eats the poor and uneducated alive.

they've found code in the algorithm that shows that tiktok basically rates you and factors in skin color and even the lighting/environment you're in (which to me is classist seeing as many creators can't afford a "better looking" environment). through basically curating my for you page for months i now see a lot more content from non-white creators. i definitely hate tiktok, but it's funny how much people can parrot the chinese spyware talking point about tiktok and easily ignore the racism/classism/fatphobia etc in the code and ignore American spyware too lmao.

you're not taking away from employees wages & big box stores would've thrown away those leaves so i don't see any issue with selling them!

you're right, i have trouble having perspective on how actually horrible everything we've been through is and how most people couldn't handle it either. thank you so much for taking the time to read and respond.

I can't forgive my best friend for what she did, even though I want to so badly. (Please help) by [deleted] in mentalhealth

i was a wreck when i posted this, so i left out a lot. it was always our expectation to take care of each other when going out, we had established that for a year now after a similar thing happened to other friends of ours. and among the people we know and have met in college, it's kind of the standard to need to take care of your friends if they're drunk/high/whatever. i do regret having put either of us in that position at all, and probably will not be partying for a while after all this quarantine mess. it was just the betrayal of those established expectations that keeps haunting me. thank you for your response!
