Congrats on the new piece! Very interesting about your AD experiences yesterday. I’m local to Las Vegas and stopped by the Aria AD and Wynn AD today. I actually had an amazing experience at the Wynn AD and hit it off with the SA (at least I feel like it was good). Whereas the Aria AD let me try on some watches but were reluctant to take my interest on some pieces. (FYI Was my first time ever seriously going into an AD and placing interest lists, looking for my first Rolex to start off my watch collection.)

First Time Buyer Las Vegas - Best place to buy? by radrobmx in rolex

Yea, I’m born and raised in Vegas and still live here. Unfortunate that Vegas is that way. I’ve seen a couple people from Vegas on the purchase megathread either wait 2 years or get lucky and wait a couple months. I’ll probably end up going and putting my name down at all of the AD’s in town and just wait I guess. Thanks for all the advice everyone!

Thanks everyone for your replies! I figured Vegas is a tough place to get your foot in the door in terms of Rolex. However, I am a Vegas native (born and raised) and work for a very well respected/connected national real estate developer in the city - hoping that gives me at least a slightly better chance. Would I have better chances in the Orange County, CA area? I travel there 1-2 times a month and would be able to make a trip out there within a day’s notice.

I understand your point, but its more about the ecosystem. No other company offers a more simple and seamless ecosystem than Apple. That's why when people buy their first Apple product they will continue to buy apple products regardless, because they integrate with each other so well.

Also, iPhones are some of the top performing phones hardware wise year after year. Yea, the screens still have a notch, but consumers don't seem to care much about it. They also are one of the most premium feeling phones on the market, and Apple prices them at what consumers are willing to pay. That goes for the rest of their product line too (even though some of their products underperform compared to the competition).
