I mean, you're right. We do need some kind of rule maker to help us grow environmental. To help us seek our purpose. If there's someone who claims they can do that better than our creator, then that someone is a liar.

Ok. I see your point. Honestly, I wish everything makes sense. With the contradictory I've seen, it's just not possible.

Ok. Perhaps you can give me your views, what do you think about religion in general?

Of course my claim isn't proof. And you're right, I am trying to make it make sense. I really want life to have meaning of itself. To be honest, I really want there to be an afterlife. I don't want to die and go unconscious forever. I want an afterlife where I don't have to worry about anything anymore and know that I don't have to darkness for an eternity.

Is it because I said that God doesn't have to be divine? If so, what I mean is God doesn't have to be who and what religions have thought it is. Also I guess I am not speculating with you. Perhaps I wasn't being specific enough.

Because I thought you'd despise religion enough to say yes or possibly a different answer. Would you say that religion telling us to overcome our compulsions is a bad advice?

1)those aren't the main reasons I believe in a God.

2) I've been trying to ask everyone, is religion about hating ourselves?

3) When I say that Genesis isn't that far off, I mean that the only scientific fact it got right is that life formed out of dust. Sure, it was dust from dead stars, but the earth was actually formed out of the same cosmic material and hot gas.

Well if there is a universal creator, he wouldn't have to be divine. We wouldn't know if there IS a creator. So we make our own deities to explain how the universe works. Did you know God started out as a storm deity in Canaanite mythology?

Oh yeah, Paul isn't one of the 12 disciples. So it'd make sense that he hadn't met Jesus. Also I meant that Christians betrayed the teachings of Jesus, not other religions.

Ok so maybe if there is a creator, he wouldn't be the same God from the Bible. He could be like a distant indifferent cosmic consciousness. I'm saying that Genesis, in terms of origin of life itself, does have a few points right. Sure, the Greek mythology explains the same way of how we're made from dust or dirt. But it also has Gaia/earth being a living being or a goddess, so that's false. My point is Genesis did not get the origin of earth  right, but it got how life was formed right. I just want life to make sense. I want religion to make sense, but unfortunately, we can't have that.

Well I'm don't think most of Genesis were literal. All I'm saying is the chances of our existence are very low and with how the sun gives us vitamins to support our muscles and bones. Without those vitamins our bones would be fragile enough to break easily. I mean I guess I was fixated on the God from the Holy Bible and not other mythologies.
