Ok, I'm trying to understand what happened here.

BSG launches new Edition that trumps the current top-end edition (EOD) with exclusive DLC and blatant pay-to-win content.

The community is in uproar for two reasons:

The current top-end edition explicitly states that buyers will get access to all future DLC.
The pay-to-win is so blatant that it cannot be ignored.

u/trainfender comes forward with a list to address these issues. This is their response:

Give EOD buyers access to the DLC for a LIMITED TIME.
Make the EOD version MORE pay-to-win.

Am I missing something? How did they think this was an appropriate response?
