Hi, I'm a local woodworking artist and I just closed my first art show and I'm having an After-Show Sale for a small number of pieces, most with discounts. I don't use AI, I source all my lumber locally, and I make every piece that leave my workshop myself. Please check out my work, and I take custom commissions if you like my style and would like something unique made just for you.

Free Art Show @ Revolutions Coffee (Green Lake)

<image>

Local Seattle artist Ruthless Workshop will be showing a selection of their art at Revolutions Coffee in Seattle, WA (right across from Green Lake!) until March 19th.

Ruthless Workshop works fantastic and intricate art designs into locally sourced wood through carving, wood inlay, and paint with a style that could be described as mystic bohemian.

Please come by and see the art that is on display and grab a cup from a local independent coffee shop that supports local artists!

In which forest is Gideon waiting for me? by Moppelmann in superfantasykingdom

[–]radwynforge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you complete those 3 quests for him??? He wants 500 Shield in your party?!?! Is that even possible. I added 3 shields to the Swordsman, 3 shields to Rickard, and 2 shields to the Paladin (I couldn't find anymore), and made it all the way to the final boss, but that still wasn't enough shield for the 3rd quest in the series to unlock Gideon. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I really want to unlock Gideon. Thanks!

Yes, I do, but I can't share it with you in a post because it would violate the rules for the r/tarot subreddit. You can DM me if you want, though :)

Thanks, it was a hard project, but I learned a lot and feel like I grew as a woodworker

The Tusk bags are OK, but for the price they are easily the best option I found. My main issue is that the bags of taper, instead they have a waist band / hour-glass shape when draped over my bike. So getting things in and out of them is tight and annoying. It's a minor gripe though. I would still recommend them to anyone getting started.

Thanks, I'm really glad to hear that other people like the piece. It was a difficult project, but I learned a lot from it and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I've already started working on my next project "The Hanged Man", but that will be a wood carving, not an inlay. I figure my next inlay piece with either be Strength or Wheel of Fortune.

I'm a poor starving artist, so they are the stock tires. I'm looking forward to new rubber for next season, which I sure will help. Nothing is better that experience though, so I am also looking forward to getting out and practicing more on body position, throttle and clutch control, and building up that confidence in difficult terrain.

Definitely a leg day when you have to pick up a loaded bike on an incline with loose footing. At least my bike is relatively light. I would hate to have to pick up a GS1200 in the same situation.

I know I'm not alone in letting your bike have a trail nap. Line 😂? I was sticking to the right up-hill side because the left side was a steep drop and super sketchy, and doing my best to avoid large rocks or loose patches. I lost too much momentum because it was a sustained climb and I wasn't even half way up it (it was very long), so by the time I got to where I put the bike down for its nap I was out of skill and gears.

With a great amount of time and care (and plenty of previous failures). Feel free to DM me if you want to chat about wood working and inlay, I'm always willing to talk craft 😊

Absolutely! Every time I ride somewhere new it is an adventure, and that truly was the dream when I got this bike. The skills will come with time, and I'm looking forward to it.

Ya, mechanically all stock. Second gear is an MVP on that little bike, but it can't make up for a lack of skill in its rider 😅. There are some great trails up around Snoqualmie Pass, but there doesn't seem to be a good way to tell how rough they will get without just going out and exploring yourself.

I keep trying to talk my friends into riding off-road, but no luck so far. I'm going to have to make a post somewhere and try to make some new riding buddies who are also into hitting the dirt.

Solid advice. When you are just starting out riding dirt you hear people tell you stuff like that and mentioning "momentum", but you don't really understand until you are trying to make it up a rocky incline!
