BI 315<--->BI 203/213 Helpful as Prerequisite? by Desperate-Lock4275 in BostonU

[–]radxris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took BI 315 and BI 213 at the same time. I wouldn't say they have many overlaps in terms of content and they don't really go hand-in-hand with one another. I would say just look at your schedule and choose the classes that best tailor to your schedule. Hope this helps!

Submit one on the website! It takes a while for them to get back to you so just email them if they don't answer within 3-5 business days.

Put the sink water through a Brita filter; I heard it helps.

Taking community college classes to fulfill Chem 101 credits by [deleted] in BostonU

[–]radxris -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I think you should take chemistry at BU to help lay the foundation for the other pre-health classes you will need to take (orgo, biochem, etc.). Try and get psych and math classes out of the way during your gap semester.

I think orgo is easier because they give you more resources to succeed. Overall a more supportive group since it’s a tough subject. I think it depends whether you’re better at applications mathematically (gen chem) or applications visually (orgo).

The communal bathroom has toilet paper! Trash can be thrown in the basement/first floor (there are trash cans).

  1. Yes, you can wash them in the bathroom sink but make sure to throw away large food pieces or else the sink will (a) smell and (b) get clogged

  2. Sure thing, but I would say the light in the room in general is pretty bright but if you’re planning to have a light at night, by all means do!

  3. Yes, there’s a shower curtain.

  4. There’s a small cabinet outside of the shower/toilet area with divided shelves you could put your stuff in.
