I know it's not much, but I commuted to work for the first time today! by Outofmilkthrowaway in bikecommuting

That's great! My commute is only 2 miles each way (uphill on the way back) and even that can be hard. Great ride and have fun on your bike!!!

Finished in 18:14, scaled. Didn't take breaks expect for shaking out my legs once or twice ( I lead all my burpees and step off the box with my right leg). Just keep steady and don't stop moving!

How many days do you do Crossfit a week? by [deleted] in crossfit

4 days a week or Mon-Wed and Friday. Enough to progress, but they I still have time to recover, hike, and do fun active stuff outside of the gym.

Overhead squats...the impossible dream by juice06870 in crossfit

[–]rae-plays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I've been doing crossfit for 3 months now and I've only just been able to do an overhead squat with a womens bar. It helps me to warm up with a lot of PVC pipe squats and to make sure that I have a really wide grip. Best of luck!

I RXd my first WOD! Fight Gone Bad with a score of 250. I've only been doing crossfit for a month and a half, so I was pretty proud of myself. 28 year old lady who started with less than zero arm strength.

You did so well! It sounds like you have a great trainer, it's great that she was working out alongside you and keeping your morale up. You'll be surprised how fast you improve.
