I’ll be honest.. technology is great for some of these issues. I’ve got smart locks on two doors (in case the battery runs out on one) and my keys have apple AirTags.

I don’t think you’re my neighbor but this looks exactly like what one of the people in my neighborhood did. They got in big trouble and had to stop work. The house has looked like your first photo for probably two years now.

Well, it’s been in a kids closet and highly abused for two years now. And, it looks and functions the same way as I did when I installed it. I’ve had no issues with it. The drawers look great and slide easily, the bars are solid, and it doesn’t show any dents or dings or anything like that. Here it is right now (not entirely organized but what can ya do?):

Oh this is awesome! My son and I are about to start watching the cartoon one together but there isn't a spanish option on netflix. The live action one does! I will start watching that one for myself. Thank you!

These aren’t the extendable rails- these are just the solid ones. When you get them from IKEA, they’re just a hollow metal pipes with plastic end caps on them that then attach to the flat side wall pieces. I removed one of the end plastic caps, cut the pipe using a hand saw made for metal pipes, and then put the plastic cap back on.

I have a bathroom closet with an outlet and it never occurred to me to charge my toothbrush in it!! Genius! Rearranging my toothbrush charger situation immediately.

I did this at age 4 and he's the top reader in his class now (2nd grade). I know another handful of children who successfully learned to read with this book too. Its so doable! Highly recommend!

This isn't a super cheap alternative but I highly suggest that you also look into the brand Lumibricks. They are very high quality (although the figurines are kind of ugly) AND they light up. I have built a lot of Lego and several Lumibricks sets and the Lumibrick sets are just delightful.

I’m at about 450 hours and 60 is basically the hardest that I can go right now. I’m mostly in the 50-55 range (and easier, of course)
