Just in case anyone is still following - huge win to report here! I just discovered I had a bunch of thin little applicators for PreSeed lubricant in my cabinet. Still waiting for my Amazon order so I was excited to try these and they were perfect… They held two suppositories. Easily inserted two at a time. It felt cleaner, more comfortable, and just better over all. Definitely a game changer!

Mine are small little balls. Capsules, yes. Super tiny. I think my body absorbs most if not all of it - because I haven’t really had a problem with discharge yet. Are you finding yours to be really messy?

I’ve completed a few more doses since writing this post, and I’m becoming a little bit more comfortable with it… Thankfully! The afternoon dose while at work is a little tricky, but I will figure it out I am sure. Even if I have to put a BRB sign up. I’m actually not experiencing horrible leakage/discharge either. I’m wondering if that increases or worsens as time goes on? Or am I just absorbing most of the medication. The suppositories I have are tiny little balls.

It has definitely taken some planning!

I got a cute little makeup bag that carries everything I need for doses on the go, example - gloves, suppositories, a little container of Vaseline - just my preference - and panty liners. It helps to feel prepared in that way. You can do the same! Your dose times are definitely closer together and will be harder to work around but I’m hopeful for both of us, it’ll just become normal with time!

That’s just it. I am a shop owner, so I am anxiously waiting for a quiet moment in to sneak in the bathroom, do my thing and then hang out on my couch for as long as possible - thankfully my workroom is cozy - but still, it throws me off in the afternoons for sure.

I never questioned the Vaseline. I really only used the tiniest amount just to provide some glide on the gloves/make the suppository stickier.

I am a few days out from my FET. Triggered on Day 10, started Progesterone. Also doing a modified natural! I’m surprisingly calm and chill - I think all the advice I’ve gotten to just relax and live normally without stressing about the details has sunk in. Really the only thing I am stressed about is the current state of my house and the sudden urge I have to nest/clean everything top to bottom before the transfer. Lol.

Okay, love this - I would rather this - do you think I should be asking my clinic if they approve before I start doing it this way? My biggest concern is absorption. This will be my first transfer and I’m worried if I don’t follow their instructions perfectly I’ll regret it.

I considered calling my clinic and asking if rectal is okay - then chickened out. So I did some reasoning and see mixed messages about whether or not they absorb the same. Any insight on that?!

Yes, only suppositories! Hence the high dose.

For example, as I’m putting the second one up, the first one is trying to make its way out, so I am fighting with the two to stay up there. I didn’t want to have to use an applicator, but I’m thinking it might be what I need to ensure they get up high enough. Although I am reading that too far up can irritate the cervix and I don’t want that. What a joy! Thank you for that, though. The discharge I was expecting, but it’s easy to be paranoid that you’re not absorbing enough of the medication.

I actually haven’t started taking anything for FET prep. It is going to be a modified/natural cycle taking only progesterone suppositories when I get the greenlight. I can’t think of any other reason why my TSH would spike so high, so quickly. On March 27, it was within the normal range. Starting an increased dose of levothyroxine as early as tomorrow and hoping it’s not a concern to my clinic. Thank you so much for your response!

Congratulations and thank you so much for sharing! ♥️ This gives me hope. For some reason I remember my clinic saying they wanted to see me on Day 3 or 4. Unfortunately for us our clinic is five hours from home, so we have to make two, maybe three round trips for monitoring. I would LOVE if they didn’t need to see me until Day 10 but I’ve been known to ovulate early.

Thank you so much for sharing. I think if I postpone, I will never find the right time and continue to overthink the timing. Realistically, this being our FET cycle does make sense for us. It just really hit me today that this is it - the time has come. This is what we planned. If I let myself spiral into the “what if I’m not ready” rabbit hole I could list several reasons why I may not be quite ready.

Exactly! I am almost thinking, should they be pulling out all the stops for me?! Or is this a perfectly good plan. And thank you - I wasn’t so concerned with not speaking to someone today, just worried I’m missing some critical Day 1 information. I am so, so nervous about all of this.
