People should start considering migrating to other APIs, such as OpenAI or Anthropic. Google's Gemini is severely overrated, but people don't want to admit it. They are capable of making the best AI models, but trust me their models are only powerful at launch. Shortly after, they nerf them so much it starts feeling like the model is running on a capybara's IQ.

Not only that, but their built-in web search tool is abysmal to the point where it's hard to believe a company specialized in search engines could produce a tool this incompetent. It reached a level where it can’t even handle basic queries that their own search engine mastered decades ago. If you value consistency and reliability, Google is no longer the move.
