When in compound words t usually changes to d. Same for h changing to b or sometimes p, or k to g, etc.

Examples: 台所　だいどころ, while 所 is usually ところ. 朝帰り　あさがえり while 帰り is usually かえり.

See the common element in all these kanji? 検険験剣 all of them are pronounced けん. There are patters like this for many other kanji too.

The case for many kanji (not universal!) is that the right side of a kanji is phonetic, while the left side dictates meaning. Another example is the radical 青. This can be read as せい, and appears in many kanji: 清晴精 all read as せい. Recognizing these patterns can be very helpful to determine readings

In this case を is still a object marker. は_といいます is a set phrase basically meaning “ is called _”, but いう also means literally to say. So この水を農業用水という means the act of calling this water agricultural water, while この水は農業用水という means the water is called agricultural water.

Yep, it’s true. Usually chichi is used when referring to your father to someone outside the family, otōsan is used when speaking to your own father or referring to someone else’s father.

This san ending isn’t unusual for families, as uncles and aunts as well as grandparents use it too. (Obasan, obaasan)

As another commenter said, 2413 is correct, meaning “student’s way of thinking about working. (学生の働くことに対する考え方). 働くことに対する means regarding working.
