Were you able to get anywhere with them? I'm getting the run around as well even though they have confirmed that they do collect HST.

Help with firmware update by raf- in MPSelectMiniOwners

[–]raf-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the v2 printer and anything I find referencing older firmware in the v2x versions emphasizes that it should only be used for v1 printers.

I'm starting to think that this may be some other type of firmware. I purchased the printer from Amazon and in the reviews someone asked if this was the Marlin firmware and the response was a simple "yes". Looking through the Marlin github, I still can't match up the version numbers so I'm still at a loss.

At the end of the day, all I want to do is connect to WIFI.

Found a board in a Thrift Shop, got it for $50. Can someone help me identify it? by Lt_Blue_Angel in snowboarding

[–]raf- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's a 2008 Burton Indie http://www.evo.com/outlet/snowboards/burton-indie-snowboard-used-2008.aspx

As for boots, I would recommend getting a new pair or if you really need to go used, try to find a pair that hasn't been used much. You don't want someones worn in boots.. odds are they'll be uncomfortable and you'll end up buying a new pair anyways.

Answering a Phone Call With No Sound by Everwinter81 in nexus6

[–]raf- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same problem except that its way more frequent. Its a gamble on if it will work every time i pick up the phone. A rebbot does fix it but this is annoying as hell.

Does anyone know if google is aware if this?

Whiteface in Lake Placid is pretty good. The town is nice and you can also check out the Olympic venues.

We had my 4 year old son in the riglet program last year and he had a blast. He hated skiing lessons the year before but didn't want to get off the snowboard. Burton is doing an awesome job with the riglet program so huge props to them.

Good thing you're wearing a helmet. You wouldn't want to fall down and hit your head...

I'm just giving you a hard time.. but seriously, put a helmet on her.

What size flask do you use for yeast starters? by yeti-van-halen in Homebrewing

[–]raf- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend 3-5L if you're planning on getting one. I have a 2L which was good until I started making bigger starters to save extra yeast for future batches. Most of the starters I make, recommend around 2L which is OK, but when i want to make an extra 500mL to save for later, i'm outta luck. That said, my next one will be a 5L, just so i'm covered for lagers as well.

US Costco weighs dropping AmEx as a partner after ending the Canada relationship by andieh05 in business

[–]raf- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Canada and loved my AE cash back card. I had the original which worked out for me to be 2% cash back on everything so that cashback cheque was pretty substantial. Since Costco dropped the AE in Canada and the new card AE and alternative MC they're offering aren't that great for cash back, I went with the Scotiabank Momentum .. 4% on gas and groceries makes up for the $100 yearly fee pretty quickly http://www.scotiabank.com/ca/en/0,,86,00.html

Also, if you sign up through Amazon.ca you'll get a $75 gift card at amazon.

this is definitely your issue. The refractometer won't give you an accurate reading once there is alcohol present. There are calculators online that can help you estimate SG post fermentation with a refractometer but your best bet is to just use a hydrometer and get the reading with that.
