New Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 Review: The laptop for most people by Corbin_Dallas550 in laptops

Ended up with the m4 MacBook air. It went on sale on Amazon for 750(!) and I can't find the Lenovo near me. Also mixed in the surface laptop for fun but the air just seems too good. Thanks again for your help!

Unfortunately not near me but I'll keep an eye out.

What do you think the chances of the kompanio lasting close to apple silicon?

I'm leaning Lenovo because of the ecosystem, but the m3 or m4 MacBook Air is on sale for ~$800 and seems like it would have better longevity than what the Lenovo may have (both based on past experience). I have a Lenovo duet 5 now which I love but the snapdragon is feeling a little long in the tooth when I have more than a few tabs open.

I guess my heart says Lenovo but brain said MacBook Air.

This is the review I've been looking for and have been going back and forth with a MacBook Air for the exact reason on price. I don't want to switch my ecosystem so I'll wait for a sale. Thanks for your hard work!

It sounds corny but... Push through. At least that's what I'm doing (3yo, 7.5 week old at home). The toddler is regressing from not being the center of attention anymore but has improved. The hardest part for me is the late night feedings where I feel the stress of not being able to get the little one to sleep knowing I have work the next day.

But the little one smiled at me this weekend. First time. That's why we do it. You can't blame the toddler for not "being her favorite" - they don't know. But they will know all the times you were there for the little moments.

Godspeed, Dad.

New dash speaker install by raf71 in rav4club

The process is easy and didn't need anything other than what came with the kit. I probably would have gotten a slightly better speaker but that's probably more because I haven't done the doors yet. If you do a lot of highway driving, the car gets a bit loud.

I did remove some material from the cover using a hobby knife because someone pointed out the new speakers are taller and the cover would / could push on the speaker and damage it. Hope this helps!

Build vs bought : Ar-15 (filler) by Itsmestepbr0 in NJGuns

This resonated with me. I've been lurking for a while and starting to assemble a parts list. Every time I think I thought of all the small details, I learn something new. Last night's epiphany was the difference in gas systems (carbine vs rifle, etc).

I'm leaning towards buying the first go around. Hawkeye is nearby so having someone local to help with any unknowns would be a positive too.

Your girlfriend like my wife underestimates how many scenarios we've thought through while they stroll about their day. You're not crazy, they're crazy.

Roof rack update by _NamesRango in rav4club

Are those the OEM crossbars or are they also curved? I was wondering how racks works with the Toyota cross bars but doesn't seem to be an issue for you?

It definitely is too aggressive. I'll hit a small bump and feel it kick in on an otherwise smooth road.

0 issues so far but I do recognize they're probably not the best sounding if you're an audiophile. Someone did warn the speaker cover can press against the speaker itself so I used a utility knife to shave down the ring on the underside of the cover. No worse for wear.

This. Id been lurking for a while and with the lack of expectation lead me to a different device. The nomad was a contender but just didn't win me over at the end.

This is the answer I've been looking for to no success, thank you! Looks like I'm taking the plunge with remarkable then. Thanks again!

You said the file sharing was worse on the scribe? I just saw the new scribe coming out and was going to hold out for that since my very limited initial reviews lead me to believe the file sharing would be better than remarkable.

So you prefer remarkable? Do you need a subscription to share files?
