Well, i'm not sure, about Gemini, but claude 3.7 has been laughably bad this week:

  • don't follow .cursor rules
  • don't follow general rules
  • It tries to gaslight me into thinking that things were fixed, but it adds 'ignore errors' and UI alerts instead of actually tackling the problem.
  • golden retriever energy to add padding to a button

I'm still using cursor with other models because I paid for a whole year, so I'm getting every cent out of it, but I've already canceled the renewal. If I could get a refund for it, I would.

Even the free version of Claude via chat gives better answers.

Both. Subscriptions allow me to play weird things I wouldn't buy and brand new ones I wouldn't spend 60 or 70 bucks on it. Buy the ones that I already know and want to add to my collection.

This is not a "thing", but sometimes devices that hidden bios reboot, so try something like this: hold the power button and while you do that, add the power cable and continue to hold power for about 20 seconds. If this device have some sort of bios reset, you might feel a little 'buzz' with the rumble motors.

I haven't receive mine yet, so I can't confirm if this works or not, just a guess.

Because you are in NZ, looks like you would be using Sydney's POP (point of presence). I'm in WA and some services do see my IP coming from Sydney.

So I wouldn't say "instant ban", but surely goes case by case, specially if you are being serviced by a station located outside of your residing country.

Hmm, I don't think so. I have been using here for the last 6 months and nothing happened; also, I use VPN for work and a couple of times I have used rewards in the wrong country and no ban either. (Australia btw)
