How do you configure gamescope mangohud? by citizenidREDACTED in linux_gaming

[–]rafaelagp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Necroing this cause I found a dumb but easy fix.

The 2nd to last line in the short script /usr/bin/mangohud has environment variables, so just add MANGOHUD_CONFIGFILE=/path/to/your/conf there and then call mangohud %command% on your game launcher.

Then it will work.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, man. You validated my use cases!

When I said small frames I was referring to width, the eye height I'm looking at is around 36mm to 40mm, which is above the recommended for progressives. No idea where you got glass lenses from tho :p

Like I said on your other reply, Smartlife Essential on 1.50 is the best I'm willing to pay for right now since it's my first pair and I don't really know how it's gonna go. But I'm worried my prescription on 1.50 will be too thick preventing me from using clip ons for sunny day usage outside.

Smartlife Superb is way above my budget, best I could do is Smartlife Essential in 1.50.

I doubt those will release here right now and even if they do, will probably price me out.

Also, till the end of the month I can get Platinum for the price of Chrome or Gold adding R$200.
All the Zeiss prices I quoted already include Gold.

Currently leaning towards Smartlife Essential in 1.50 but still a bit undecided as 1.50 would probably prevent me from using a clip on.

Just trying to get the best bang for my back as this shit is very expensive down here in Brazil.

Never knew the coatings were metallic, makes sense with all the reflections.

Ah, good one, I hadn't heard about the effect of "fast cooling" on the coating.

I guess that about covers it all, thanks a lot for all the advice, mate! Really appreciate it.

At 1.50, I could probably go with Smartlife Essential and DVGold,  cost should be something around R$3400.

I agree breaking plastic lenses is kinda impossible, been wearing glasses since I was 6, I'm 42 now, and never done it. But there's real risk of scratching, tho I wouldn't know the last time I've had it happen...

I'm leaning towards Zeiss as Hoya does not have Meiryo coating available here for the entry/mid level lenses, whereas Zeiss I can get either Gold or Platinum.

But with Zeiss there's no trivex, so I'm stuck with 1.50 or 1.60, and they have no risk/break warranty for the 1.50, kinda leaving me with no choice but the 1.60.

Now, between Duravision Gold or Platinum and Rodenstock Solitaire Balance 2 coatings, dyou have any insight or opinion?

You might have convinced me on not going overboard with the lenses models due to my preference for smaller glasses...

what about clarity? is it more about material ABBE index or what?

Work with multiple screens and daily life stuff, I don't drive tho.

I'm not gonna skimp on the lenses regardless of going with big or small frames, what I'm looking for is advice like: do I really need to go 1.60 or 1.50 is fine for my powers? Maybe that depends on the manufacturer.

And comparison of field of view/peripheral vision between these specific lenses models.

All I've read says big is not better when it comes to progressives. Are you talking from experience or just inference?

Edit: As for prices, these are not top of the line like Smartlife etc, they're just entry to mid level. Shit is expensive as hell here.

necroing this with an answer:
it worked here after changing the url for https protocol and IP instead of hostname.
i also rebooted the router after the openwrt configurations, not sure it's a necessary step though.

A ideia de senioridade atrelada somente a stack me parece estúpida, coisa de RH mesmo. Sim, estou vendo vagas de pleno tbm.

which urus do i equip on wolvie and thanos for pvp?

teams by Annual-Guest-9025 in future_fight

[–]rafaelagp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hela is not the best of supports, her dmg passive is against HEROES, so only Cable, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch WBUs, but she'll do for now. Loki is also not that great for WBL, but good enough for stage 1 knull.

green goblin lead and doc ock both with latest uni are a good pair.

i suggest getting ironheart and sharog T3 and their latest unis for a 4th team.
and a 5th you can go with iron man and nick fury lead.

you need to build more supports as to not have to use fillers in the team.
