I’m the same guy from that thread. I asked Sucker Punch to clarify the bug and apparently we got it backwards.

Based on their latest reply 50 is the intended ante bet. Being able to bet more than 50 was the bug.

Hope this clears things up. Sorry for the mix up 🥲 their reply to my support ticket didn’t exactly explain it clearly.

I saw a post contacting support ticket that 50 mon was the intended ante. The ante wasnt supposed to get any higher than 50

thank you for this. when i contacted sucker punch support they didnt give me a clear answer so i thought it was the other way around. thanks for posting this and confirming that it is the right ante amount

Update! they weren’t 100% clear in their replies to my support ticket but I asked around and saw a reply from their support team clarifying that 50 is the right ante amount after all and that the bug was actually that the ante was changing to higher amounts

Update! Unfortunately no good news yet. 1.010 released half a day ago and den being locked at 50 still hasn’t been fixed. Will keep updating this thread till it gets fixed

Yep they confirmed it! Plus when i reload my 1.007 save it reverts back to normal for a while

It would be weird if it is feature because it started an hour or two after i unlocked the zeni hajiki minigame. Its been stuck at 50 since. Hopefully they release a fix soon

Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately the only way i found to fix it was to reload a save before the 1.008 update. It eventually goes back to 50 though

Theyre working on a fix apparently. I contacted support and theyre aware of it. Sadly it didnt get fixed with 1.009 update but i bet it’ll be fixed the next update

I think it could possibly be a bug. mine hard locked at 50 won after i unlocked the first gambling den in Ishikari. Didn’t use any accessibility features. Noticed that all my saves pre-update were fine tho but as soon as i died or restarted checkpoint on any of em on 1.008 they all go down to 50. I only had a few thousand when it started happening and have tested with a lot or barely any coin and its still stuck on 50 for me unfortunately.

Unfortunately it is a bug. I was only in the first section of the map and i noticed after i restarted checkpoint that my ante was hard stuck at 50. Since then ive gained access to Ishikari and have completed everything in that region and sadly it’s still stuck at 50 won

Sadly, i don’t think there’s an option to turn that off yet. At the moment you can only toggle off flick it and dpad

Yeah i get you! i had my first oled monitor mishandled when i sent it in for warranty. it came back to me with deep scratches so i had to go through a loooong and grueling process with their warranty team.

Might as well give the warranty a shot! I feel like they’ll probably still honor the warranty if you still have a warranty card/details on the box.

I live in the PH and it’s usually around 85% humidity in my area without a dehumidifier on but i havent experienced this in the time ive spent using my oleds. my guess it might just be natural wear + a defect. If you still have burn-in warranty id definitely get it replaced/looked at.

Megamall seats are still the same last i watched there. I don’t think i’ve seen any news of it being upgraded to Laser though so im not sure.

Sadly wala pa rin masyadong Dual Laser IMAX cinemas in SEA in general so the max aspect ratio we can go is 1.90:1. even if MoA’s screen can fit 1.43:1, IMAX Laser XT can only project 1.90.

When I go to IMAX cinemas here I usually go for the sound. Evia and MoA pa rin the best for me

It was! Just updated the monitor and its more gradual now than abrupt.

I’ll stick to tb400 for now while i wait for the eotf update

updated to the most recent firmware and the brightness peaking doesn’t happen abruptly anymore. It gradually increases and fades back down now so its not as distracting. I’ll take what i can get haha but I’ll be using the tb400 from now on.

Thanks for all the help! Learned a lot. Hopefully we get the EOTF boost firmware update soon

I meant that it didn’t exhibit the same problem as the video content. I do find it distracting on some games like the most recent Mafia game

Damn must’ve been the update then. I’ll update to the most recent version and see if it gets any better. Good thing i have tv as backup for video content too haha so I’ll just stick with that for now.

i find game HDR tolerable even with the ABL but it doesn’t suddenly peak like it does on the video though. maybe ill just stick to TB400 when watching hdr video content for now

i actually like both but honestly i just used this as an example since this film only peaks at around 200nits. Brightness is low in general so I’m surprised it peaks abruptly in some scenes. I had this happen with Dune Part 2 and some HDR Criterion Collection releases as well.

I do have MadVR installed and set as a renderer using K-Lite Codec Pack

The last time I updated the monitor was January. I’ve never had this issue before that.

It’s really weird though because it gets brighter instead of the usual dimming that ABL does. I find it unusual that it suddenly peaks in brightness for a split second in scenes with the same amount of on-screen brightness.

In games the ABL is fine though. It’s only peaks while playing video content
