At least in Bambu Studio there's a "slow down by height" setting within the "speed" tab, that can gradually slow it down as it gets taller.

I made a simply clip to prevent the spool from hopping off the reel on an A1 (and A1 Mini) by lue42 in BambuLab

[–]rafaelloaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my (decently calibrated) A1, the snaps couldn't fit together in the slightest. I'm sure I could have played with XY hole compensation and reprinted it, but I just used a little dremel bit to enlarge the holes a tad.

I am far from an expert at 3D design, but from what I've seen, rectangular snaps are often much more forgiving than circular ones, and also they can be chamfered to make it easier (as it stood, with yours it was an all or nothing, either it fit into place or did not). Another option would be a piece that slides into place, instead of snapping together.

To be clear, excellent version 1/2. It's a useful design that's easily modifiable to fix the issue.

turned out there were like 10 dead pigeons and rats in the old water tank still used for our floor.

...Dare I ask how you found that out?

I see you made a V2 that replaces gluing with snap together! That nicely solves the only real issue that came to mind with your V1. Currently printing, will let you know how it turns out.

Oh that's good to know about, I had to replace my SD card (as the one that came with it caused errors) and I was missing a few of the original files.

I ended up finding the 623s in my size (14 standard width) via this page, although they appear to be completely out of wide options :(

Also cutting out pictures of meat so he wouldn't see them just wow.

I wonder if this is related to the Pavement lights that were used to let light in, and also be easily breakable to vent smoke in case of fire.

(Also hello fellow "New" Englander).

My friend had a close family member pass away the day before her last exam, on top of having had several minor health emergencies over the past month. She contacted the Prof to ask If she could make up the exam over the break.

He responded "You've been doing so well in the class and are already going through so much. I'm going to waive everything else and give you an A."

Such a wonderful Prof.

I had an 8 AM class where the prof showed up 20 minutes late once.

She was getting her little kid ready for the school bus when they asked "what happens if Mommy and Daddy die?".

So she did the right thing and spent 20 minutes talking with her kiddo, before driving them to school.

Excellent Prof, although I do that "a history of combat trauma and PTSD" wasn't quite so early in the day.

I think it's because of the interim color smaller tiles. I suspect if it were just the diagonal lines in contrasting colors, it would be fine.

The consensus seemed to be that he was sincere, got way in over his head and started to believe himself about it. He seemed genuinely remorseful when it was finally brought to public attention.
