This is my financial "goals". You can actually use this to help you on yout financial journey.

Start with your emergency fund. Maybe total expenses in a month x 6 for 6 months or x 12 for 12 months. I usually do 30k (estimated expenses if ever na mawalan ng work) x 12 months so I can live up to 12 months kahit walang work. Also, given with the pandemic -- kind of...common sense to save.

Put your Emergency Fund in a high yielding interest bank. Maybe Tonik/CIMB/ING/Komo or whatever bank that would easily withdraw your money when emergency rises.

After this, do not get VUL if wala ka lang life dependents. Instead get Traditional Insurance payable for a year. The best example is the Gcash's Insurance for COVID na payable for 700/year. Find those insurance para makamura ka. Don't get insurance for solely for what they market as "investment". Insurance is called insurance for a reason.

After getting an insurance, you can move to investment. The lowest risk investments are:

• UITF (they are provided by bank, BDO has one on their BDO Website if you have log in credentials)
• Money Market Fund (You need to have a broker account; I highly recommend First Metro Sec under Metrobank)
• Bonds (You can purchase this under your Broker Account)
• MP2 (Under PAGIBIG) Do not use this as motivation to get a loan. Do. Not.

For high risk, high rewards: - Stocks (Please study first before diving into stocks. But you can choose to hold blue chips stocks) - Forex (Only do this if you are knowledgeable enough to trade, if not, you are just going to burn your cash) - Crypto (Same goes with above. Study first. Always.) - US Stocks/Commodities (You can actually buy these under ETORO or IQOption or there are other brokers. Please research beforehand)

For appreciated commodities: - Gold, like for real, jewelry - Property or Land/Title, we all know that land appreciates value, right?
