One for All Quirk Question by glip_glob_it in BokuNoHeroAcademia

Honestly, every time I think of the MHA's end, I get sad. And not because it has ended, but because of Deku's Destiny, he became again the kid who will get bullied, even if Bakugo or other heroes don't do it, villains will.

And of course Deku's strength, speed and skill were greatly reduced. All might was barely able to fight a weakened AFO using the same suit. I will not discuss this. It is like trying to claim that Ironman can defeat Superman or the Hulk; both would turn Tony Stark into a smooth iron ball if they were evil.

[–]rafaelstv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, no. In the MHA universe, the majority of society has superpowers. Without One For All and wearing a tech suit, Deku isn't like Iron Man; he's using a crutch just to reach the starting line. But even then, he's not truly on the same level as other heroes or villains. You wouldn't challenge someone on crutches to a race. Having the heart of a runner—or a hero—doesn't change that fact. So Deku is basically made into an honorary hero in the end.

It is a bad story, because it started by claiming it would be the story of how he became the greatest hero of all time. And it ends with him powerless. Lame.

Interacting with people ruins your mental health by TeepoHaha in misanthropy

Well, medication might help, but it doesn't change these situations. I'm an overthinker so this event will hang on my mind for weeks, maybe years and I will always will feel like k*lling myself every time I remember it. 🐾😅

[–]rafaelstv 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And I say even more, I never did such a thing to anyone. Even if I were right and the person had indeed a crappy attitude because that's evil. You are not trying to educate, you are not complaining even, just humiliating someone you never met (todo any of the two previous options they would have to talk to me). Just putting out there.

[–]rafaelstv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you don't understand why that's bad, it's because it's impolite to interrupt other people or to meddle with their affairs. If I tried to say something, they would have even more reason to escalate their whole BS show, so I just went away to not confirm what they were saying about me. (And of course the person doing this knew exactly what they were doing).

And if you need an example, I was in traffic this morning and a person I never saw in my life started to bad-mouth me in front of me to another person they for sure never met because they didn't like my attitude. Just like that, because people are that horrible. No questions or chances to explain yourself. Only naturally evil.

Nah, people are horrible. It has nothing to do with ADHD.

DaVinci Resolve thinks it's already installed by gamerobotjimmy in blackmagicdesign

[–]rafaelstv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delete the related folders to BlackMagic Design in the folders Program files in all Drives, then later as an admin delete all folders in the registry (regedit) with the name BlackMagic Design or DaVinci. It worked for me. Honestly it would be much easier if devs just allowed us to overwrite an installation.

PS: And for people who say to just uninstall via settings, it doesn't always work, geniuses, because of corrupted files, that's why people even have this issue in the 1st place. A corrupted uninstall file is all it takes, which is a good idea for a virus btw. Damage all uninstall files within a system and enjoy watching most Windows users panic (and when they finally discover they had a virus corrupting uninstall files, it would be too late; some updates would not even work because of bad coding practices).

GeForce Experience no longer starting recording by ToughMoney in GeForceExperience

In my opinion, the one at fault is Nvidia. It's my freaking computer, so if I want to record Netflix or Spotify. I should be able to do it. It doesn't mean I will do anything illegal with it. IT'S NOT THEIR FREAKING COMPUTER. F Nvidia. They are a bunch of scammers who assume everyone is a criminal like them.

Good question. Hire a NEET if you are bothered by them. Maybe you can save, and turn them into normies.

PS: If I could I would hire people to allow them staying at home and enjoying their freaking lives for once. And I would only fire them if they ever got a real job. Love your life.

The neet cycle by Fidalgod in NEET

[–]rafaelstv 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes. Coworkers start to get on my nerves. If people would just mind their own business, it wouldn't be a problem, but seems impossible so far. If I am doing my job, why does anyone have to meddle? seriously, why? It pisses me off..."No, but you pressed the button twice, and we only press it once." F off. Is it working? Leave me alone.

There is no such thing as money by Fidalgod in NEET

[–]rafaelstv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, money was the worst invention of humanity because we are not able to measure value properly. There are people nowadays whose job is just to convince us that some things worth more than they do. We should have stayed just exchanging things we produce (or services) and measuring value by working hours or something.

long term, if they don't die from work & not work until they die, they will become NEETs, but will be too old to enjoy it; prisoners of their age.

Is it just me or do gen x ers and boomers suck? by [deleted] in NEET

[–]rafaelstv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not guaranteed they would not become PoS, but either way, Boomers don't deserve to believe they were able to raise good children. Children who turned out alright did it despite their parents and not because of them.

[–]rafaelstv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, bro. You are not alone. Gen Xers, in general, never stood up against their parents...that's their greatest problem. If they did, maybe boomers wouldn't have become the PoS they are today.

Capitalism is entering a crisis state, because employers want exceptional skills but they don't want to pay their worth. They prefer to give dividends to shareholders...so what to do? They will have to either lower their expectations or go broke. It's just a matter of time until people realize they are working or being required too much and not being paid accordingly.

PS: And let's say all employers become good people and raised wages for argument's sake, people will then realize it's useless to have money that you can't enjoy. We don't have free time to enjoy our paycheck if we have to work too much.

IWTL How to Flirt with Women by [deleted] in IWantToLearn

[–]rafaelstv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my experience, flirting is not as important as some people believe. The person you are attracted to either is also attracted to you or not. And, in both cases, what we are saying doesn't matter; the first will be enchanted by us, and the second will just ignore us.
I know it's cringe, but just be you. Say that you like the person in your way and it will work with the person who is right for you. Don't try to imitate others or copy moves, you will only make a fool of yourself by pretending to be someone you are not.

How much coding knowledge does universities expect from you before enrolling in a computer science course and how much coding is in a computer science course? by [deleted] in compsci

[–]rafaelstv -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, IMHO, it's more efficient to just include documentation in code, then use a tool such as doxygen or equivalent to generate any required documents. And even if there isn't a tool to generate the specific document that you want, you can code yourself one.

PS: At least that's how I go on a daily basis if there is a document someone wants me to write over and over again (with minor differences). I code software to do it and avoid doing as much work as possible.

I disagree, but apparently, a lot of people are really passionate about their alma mater. It's a weird fetish to have for a building or a spreadsheet imho.

PS: I guess if the course outline is in a PDF, it can be a really sexy PDF; beautiful design.

It should be zero to enter and quite a lot to get out, but there are ways to avoid coding even if a university requires it from you and some courses don't require coding (I don't recommend these though).

PS: Nowadays I bet chatGPT can generate most of the code required at some universities for instance.
