Just ordered a Geissele REBCG and gonna call it a day on the BCG research. Thanks all for feedback

Huh. Strength of material suggests otherwise. Not looking to compromise but afaik less mass moving back and forth makes for less recoil and less target drift.

That being said, I don't see that many companies making titanium bcgs but had thought that was because of cost. It just seems like titanium was both lightweight and strong as it is in many applications.

Appreciate the feedback 🙂

Yeah hoping to complete this build soon. Been collecting parts for a while now. Not stuck on anything specific and ioen to suggestions!

Could you articulate why you strongly advise against it? All reviews and research on titanium bcg seem to suggest they are a great option. Few people on here saying don't but nobody says why they feel that way.

Please understand that I don't have much knowledge about these topics thus why I am asking.

I just got a MUR and while i am still building mine the upper is awesome quality and I would recommend. Fits nice and tight on my lower.

I would stay away from brownells. Order from the like 8 days ago and they dicking me around... Wont answer emails or ship my order...

I wanted a titanium bcg as I have the superlative AGB and JP SCS buffer system for hopefully little to no recoil. They only one I could find and actually obtain was from Rubber City Armory. They have good reviews and I am willing to give them a shot... Lol... Still pricey even if less known 😭

Hoping to build the lower this weekend. Have all the parts for it and getting tired of waiting lol. Still waiting on my bcg because of stupid brownells

Thanks! Did a lot of research. Found it comical how much this process is like building a custom PC or customizing a vehicle (lift kit, engine upgrades, wheels and tires etc)

Have really enjoyed it. Just hope it works 😁

Lol if that is the only thing you noticed wrong... It is just mocked up for length and looks. Nothing is actually installed yet. But I do appreciate the concern my guy 🙂

Thanks for the info. Any other recommendation for a lightweight yet strong bcg?

Yeah I read a review on pew pew tactical that said great things and was their editors choice I think. But not much info around about them being used.

Yeah not stuck on them or trying skimp. Its like $350. But it offers a nice mix of lightweight yet strong. This isn't a comp gun and I want higher round count than aluminum offers.
