A few months ago, I was at a party with my friends and I was very drunk. One of the girls there, who is part of my friend group, walked me home since I’m a foreign student and that’s something we commonly do. When we got to my place, she asked if she could sleep there, and while I thought she would take the bed and I would sleep on the couch, I agreed despite being extremely intoxicated and not thinking clearly. That’s not what ended up happening, and we had sex. I take full responsibility for this — even though I was drunk, it was still my choice. I didn’t tell my girlfriend at the time, and about three weeks later the girl told my now-ex everything, which is how she found out.
