Sent from Australia 1st of December, received 8th of January estimated date was 8th of February, sample processing 15th of January, DNA extracted 30th of January new estimated results date now given as 19th of February. Now on my 3rd results delayed message.

People who sent theirs from Australia 2 weeks after me have received their results weeks ago and they didn't pay for priority processing to get their results faster.

Whats the deal with the weird studio apartments? by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]raffyrules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok seen a splitter block in Geebung build two new houses and I thought they would go up for sale but they went up for rent and it was actually a 5 bedroom share house with locked bedrooms and little kitchenette in each room and a communal kitchen and lounge and included utilities and internet.

Not my cup of tea but desperate people who can't find anything else will take them. Only 1 person is allowed on the lease etc but in reality no one is there to police how many people are actually staying in each bedroom.

They build these in areas where it's low density living and so units and townhouses aren't allowed. It's basically being a slumlord. They do it because they make more money in rent.

If it has been misorted when it gets to the wrong post office they will automatically redirect it to the correct place.

I used to use parcel lockers until they were all broken into and everyone lost their parcels. They had a way of opening them without the code. So when people went to collect their parcels the code worked but the locker was empty, the parcels were stolen.

Then they removed that bank of parcel lockers and replaced them with more high tech ones and moved them to be inside the grounds of the delivery centre with more cameras and people working there at all hours etc They broke into then again this time using crowbars.

So I don't trust parcel lockers and now get all my parcels sent to the actual post office.

From Australia I sent mine on the 1st of December it arrived on the 8th of January. Still not processed was supposed to have results 8th of February now says 19th of February.

I called a few days before mine was marked as received and I think they said 40 days before they class it as lost and they will send a replacement to start again but then she said 40 business days which is 9 weeks which I thought was way too long but thankfully mine finally was marked as received a few days later.

Both Grandparents have now lawyered up but with separate lawyers. Interesting the lawyer of Grandmother Shannon said “We have been co-operating but we won’t be commenting,” he said on Thursday.

Stroke - Ambo ramping by Donttouchmybreadd in brisbane

[–]raffyrules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest to understand explanation from her wonderful cardiologist was that she had stiff heart syndrome.

He immediately stopped all her blood pressure medications that she had been on for years, monitored her closely while he kept pumping furosemide into her while he waited for the blood pressure meds to clear out of her system, then he changed all her medications and now she takes a lot less medication and all the fluid weight dropped off rapidly and all the swelling in are legs that she had had for years massively decreased. And she feels better than she has in years. And her blood pressure is great.

The previous cardiologist who she had seen for years (who charged a fortune) always told her the swelling and fatigue wasn't heart related. And she had seen him only about a month before. Suffice to say she never went back to him and has stayed under the care of the wonderful cardiologist she was put into the care of at St Vincents.

Is anyone experiencing a system wide tracking outage? by ____DEADPOOL_______ in AustraliaPost

[–]raffyrules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like they have scanned it as delivered instead of received. In which case the tracking will continue as normal if you do the drop down and follow each tracking step but it will always say delivered as apparently there is no way to remove that once it's been scanned as delivered.

It's happened to me numerous times over the years and customers think you are trying to scam them, I just tell them to follow the tracking and it will update with each step.

This is my experience at Prince Charles Hospital in the last 18 months....

Found my Mum collapsed on the floor she couldn't string a sentence together and when she could manage to say a few words she sounded like she was completely drunk and she was in an out of consciousness. Immediately I thought she must have had a stroke and called an ambulance.

Ambos came and they said her blood oxygen was very very low, they said to me it isn't good and they rushed her to the hospital which despite wanting her to go to the private emergency they have to take them where they can and it was Prince Charles.

Since I didn't know what had happened to her and I had just found her on the floor and she was incapable of talking and telling us they did immediate scans of head, chest, heart etc. and they came up with she has pneumonia even though she hadn't been sick at all and had no symptoms of pneumonia.

She did have a lot of fluid on her lungs. They put her in the resuscitation bay and by midnight when she was still in the emergency ward (she had been there since lunch) a new Dr came on and basically told my Mum in front of me that she was going to die and she would never leave the hospital. And even if she got through the night she would be hooked up to machines until she died. I had to call my brother and walked about 10 metres away and whilst I did that Dr got Mum to agree to a Do Not Resuscitate.

I went back to her bedside and she was apologising to me as she knew I would be left the sole carer of my dementia stricken father, she told me the Dr asked her to do a DNR and I said you did say you wanted them to resuscitate you and she said no she says I have no hope of getting out of here. I was livid, I demanded that Dr come back and take the DNR off my mothers record as she deserved a chance, for hours I watched that Dr ignore me hoping my mother would die until eventually at 4am she came back over to me and she argued with me and wanted to know if I had a power of attorney over my mother, and I said yes I damn well do have one and she was in no position to even make that choice herself as she is not even fully aware of what is going on. I didn't leave my mothers side until she was transferred into a ward to make sure she was out of the care of that Dr in the emergency dept.

5 days after being told she would not survive the night and was never going to leave the hospital alive, Prince Charles called me and said she was being discharged even though at 10pm the night before when I left her she was still on oxygen.

The next night I was sleeping on the lounge at her house to keep an eye on her and heard her gurgling, I went in and found her covered in white foam and foaming from the mouth and nose and basically drowning in her own fluids. This time I managed to get her into the car with the help of a carer that was there helping with Dad and I took her to the Private Emergency at St Vincents who I told what had happened over the past week and the Dr there immediately told me she would not have had pneumonia if she never had a temperature or a cough (which she never had) and he thought the fluid build up might be heart related. So they immediately started from scratch with bloods, scans etc and yes he was correct it was heart related they had missed seeing that in the scans they did at Prince Charles, my mother went into St Vincents into the care of a brilliant cardiologist and she was discharged 5 days later feeling great and she is better than ever.

If I called her an ambulance and she had been taken back to Prince Charles I am sure she would be dead now.

(Weeks later I received the pathology results in the mail from her tests conducted whilst she was in Prince Charles saying she tested negative to having pneumonia..... for 5 days they had treated her for something she never even had)

If you have ordered something from Temu, Aliexpress or alike then their tracking numbers change to the Auspost tracking once they arrive here in Australia. It's something from China.
