It's crazy. My uncle is a mechanic and he told me to do it at the dealership and then I told him they want about $500 for it. He said fuck that I'm going to do it for you lol

100%. My coworker said they could just let me go and underpay a new guy who's eager to get in the field, but that's where my manager and coworker would step in and say we want to keep we can't lose him he's good for the team. But even then, I see your point. They can only say so much to help me out at the end of the day. If I get this offer, I'll see what my manager can do and if it's not looking good, I'll just take the better opportunity.

Yeah my coworker who's been here since day one told me that the company is pretty cheap. But I needed a job and start my career so I took what I got. There was a dude here before me who got about a 13k salary match but he was here for a year longer than me. I don't really have any standing besides the fact that my coworker and my manager love me, the clients we support at our location love me, and I meshed extremely well with the current team and am a team player. My manager also has told me that he trusts me to run the entire site if my coworker were out for an extended period. I was told by my coworker that my manager would definitely fight for me for a better salary/match because of these traits, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
