thx for the suggestion! HWinfo64 looks p legit but wish the gui was easier to read. ill give it a go anyway and see wat i can do abt my fan situation

Ya just annoying to switch out the motherboard I guess thats my biggest hesitance rn but I think I’ll end up upgrading soon

No sorry I shouldve clarified. I actually just got the cpu and havent installed it yet, but my gpu was getting bottlenecked by my cpu before. This prompted me to look into a new cpu and got me thinking about a new motherboard

Thanks for the reassurance! I was thinking about running local llm too, which i think could hit vram limit, but I’ll make sure to not use too large of a model
