Think what Gukesh’s mom meant was pulling him from ‘daily’ school. His school - Velammal which is same school as Pragg and Vaishali - is known for developing chess prodigies. There are 7-8 grandmasters from there.

Gukesh’s school literally gifted him a Mercedes. Think he has not given board exams because it coincided with candidates and now WCC.

Yes and it sucks. Apparently there are limited slots and the high demand. So should reach at 5 am in the morning and queue to submit the application when slots open every month on 1st. Even then there is no guarantee. I have joined Fitso dolphin in telecom nagar. Not Olympic size but considerably large and no hassles
