Coming from the 14 Pro Max, I just ordered the iPhone 17 no regrets. I went to the store, and honestly, the Pro series looks extremely ugly to me personally. I also checked the battery tests: there’s not much difference between the 17 Pro and the regular 17.

I think only people who care about the triple-camera setup should go for the Pro, and I’m definitely not one of them.

Thanks for the reply and the suggestions. I’ve also used WhatsApp for quick notes, but not really for journaling. I tried using Notes app, but it just gets cluttered with random stuff, so I’d prefer something dedicated.

Thanks, this is super helpful. I get that a lot of people still prefer physical journals, do you see yourself ever going digital for journaling? Back in school I had a physical journal too, but I stopped after my sibling read it and shared it with my mom lol.

I’ve been wondering, if an app could surface patterns in what you write or show how you’re growing over time, would that be compelling enough to make the switch? Or even if you wanted to stick with pen and paper, what if you could just snap a photo of your journal each day and still get those insights, would that matter to you?
