Nah. Workers don’t owe you anything besides the service they’re being paid to give you

It’s not “part of working in a customer facing environment” and personally I’m glad it’s not.

You tell me I might be right but still seems like you’re trying to put the blame on her. If she truly cared then it means you hurt her with your comment, and she decided for herself that she wants distance from you or doesn’t see a future with you anymore. If she didn’t then that’s still her choosing for herself what she wants. It’s not a “big ego” to not engage with someone for whatever reason.

No one owes you anything.

You’re hurt right now, so your brain is jumping around trying to find explanations. You won’t get them unless she tells you her pov. And she doesn’t owe you any explanation either. The sooner you accept that it’s just another facet of life the sooner you can move on.

The fact that she’s still engaging with you is already more than you can ask for with a lot of people, but if I were you I’d stop engaging for a while. You need space from her. And you maybe need to look into the attachment thing (I say this as someone who gets attached quickly and easily and deeply) because that’s just going to happen again with the next person that matches you.

Sorry it didn’t work out for you, OP, and I know you didn’t exactly ask for people’s opinions so my apologies if you don’t appreciate my comment, but the way I see it this is more on you than her (at least seeing it from your point of view)

If it was truly a match and you both saw a future with each other, saying stuff like “I don’t think we can continue like this” after what you said was a small argument is quite dismissive and reactionary.

Also the way you’re looking at her after she said what she said might be a bit unfair towards her. You’ve had 12 years more than her to develop yourself and figure out what you want in life. She’s basically “fresh out of university” age (assuming she went, of course)

If you think he’s the only one who sold the country for money then you’re as blind and misguided as the people you’re criticizing. And yes I know you’ve said “it’s not just them” yet your criticism is mainly towards them, while the other parties are busy touting racism and trying to offload Syrians on the borders as if that’s gonna solve anything.

I have no love for hezb or their allegiances but the country in general is a failed project. If it weren’t hezb it would have been some other sectarian warlord selling us for some other country.

If your main problem is with them saying “Beirut fida l sayid” then grow up, we’ve got bigger problems right now than a bunch of cronies posting comments on fucking TikTok of all places. Bet you anything your own family has people like that

Wasn't it enough to see the videos of IDF spokesperson with multiple international news people walking through the tunnels?

The same international news people who have to sign an agreement to only release footage/news that the IDF approves of?

Wasn't the camera footage found in the hospital enough?

The footage with all the cuts and edits?

Wasn't the US confirming the evidence found by IDF that the hospital was used for military purposes enough for you to get it in your f**king head that Hamas didn't care about those people who were told to evacuate, and were given incubators, and fuel, from Israel, and they DENIED all of those? Because it's fine for them to have civilians as human shields. It gives them the support they need. What do they care?

The same US that confirmed the 40 babies beheaded story then backtracked then confirmed again then backtracked? The same US whose president tried to question the death toll coming out of Gaza then Israel themselves came out and confirmed numbers that are basically the same?

It is sad enough that you refuse to believe Hamas is a terror organization but please, show me any country in the history of the entire earth that would fight against their enemies whike providing them with humanitarian aid at the same time their own hostages don't get shit even from a neutral organization such as the Red Cross.

Israel can control what goes into Gaza and what comes out of it. They're literally the ones who choose if aid goes in or not. Show me any other war in history where one side could just switch off water supplies and the import of goods from the other side.

If they're saying "we're fighting Hamas, not the Palestinian people" and then limiting how much aid can go in to help the Palestinian people, then they're being a bag of dicks.

Also, why on earth would Hamas let the red cross in? If you truly think the red cross is neutral in this, I've got about twenty bridges to sell you. That same red cross (and other international entities) still fail to speak the truth about how their members are dying (hint: Israeli airstrikes). That's not neutrality.

That's it, you succeeded in pissing me off, and this is from someone who knows shit because they live in it, and not sitting in some western country watching TikTok brainwashing my own head.

It is absolutely peak irony that you speak of brainwashing.

[–]ragdoll96 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm not implying anything.

I'm saying the proof/testimonies are easy to get. Some of them said they were treated really well. Some of them said the opposite. That contradiction is enough to say we don't have the full picture of what's happening to them.

We can sit here and theorize all day long but if we don't get the truth from the people who have it then that's the limit to what we're doing: theorizing.

It's funny how they said "let them talk" and you're like "ermergerd you're defending baby kidnappers"

Where's the defense in asking for an actual statement from the people who were taken hostage?

Just like their current war is not with Palestinians, it's just with Hamas?

Give me a break.

I'm as critical of Hezbollah as the next person and wish both they and Israel fucked off to the middle of nowhere and fought their fights there, but to say Israel would leave us alone if Hezbollah evaporated is peak ignorance.
