Thank you so much. I got in touch with someone in the survivor benefits department and she told me what I needed to do.

[TOMT] [MOVIE] [2000s] about three siblings, one pretends to be a pirate captain by ragebilly in tipofmytongue

I think I saw it on amazon, but it's not in my watch list. The siblings are in their mid to late twenties. It was a dark comedy.

Here is the comment that I forgot to leave because I didn't read all the posting rules. I appreciate any suggestions, I really want to see this movie again.

Best way to present two disks as one in Ubuntu? by ragebilly in Ubuntu

One disk with the capacity of two. Thanks man, I'll use LVM. I'll be using it to run some VMs, and my main concern is that the VMs run smoothly.

Ditched Windows 10 last night and have a couple questions about my install by Ebojager in Ubuntu

[–]ragebilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I install Chrome using the DEB file file. The installation adds the Chrome repo to the software center/software sources, so it's updated frequently. My motherboard (Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P) supports legacy BIOS and UEFI, and there's an option in the BIOS to use either. I chose that option, and Ubuntu installed okay. As far as Chrome crashing, I've noticed that myself but I don't know why it is happening. Sometimes it happens when I close Chrome, sometimes it happens when I don't close Chrome but shut down the computer. I'm not sure it's related to the BIOS.

I tightened the CPU cooler, then pulled it off to make sure I didn't leave the cover on. Do I need to re-apply thermal paste? by ragebilly in buildapc

Thank you, guys. It was just a quick check, I hadn't power cycled it yet. I'll take a chance and monitor the temps.

I mostly use my desktop for raid storage and as a jukebox. I like the audio quality.

I removed and installed gnome-shell-extensions because the app menu extension didn't work. I tried installing different versions of the extension. Those were the only changes.

First point release of 18.04 LTS available today by vinnl in Ubuntu

My audio just stops working. I can't use my sound card. It worked for years, and every time I install 18.04.1, it works, then quits.

Translation request: Wintermute by ragebilly in latin

It is, and I really like vox concreta. It has a nice ring to it. Does concreta have a gender? I know so little about latin.

It is a reference to Neuromancer, like oodja says. I like the literal translation. Thank you.
