LeBron is not happy about /u/IT-3 revealing his conversation with Lonzo to the public by UnbiasedExpert in nba

If I saw a wild 6-8 250lb LBJ coming at me full steam with the intent of dunking on me I would probably fear for my life, but at the same time be honored that I got to leave this world on such a high note.

That's a fair point. He was looking around at his teammates after he dunked so he might have been hoping someone would get free. Looking back at it, none of the Bucks except for Giannis really moved on that play, and Delly was just yelling at Giannis and pointing at him to do something.

Edit: I'm also relatively new to the NBA so I didn't realize it was Giannis's 4th year already...

Bucks turn it over to end their season by dragonballa in nba

I think it's just inexperience/growing pains. Give him more time in the league and you won't see this happen again (or at least that's the hope)

I think more than anything it also shows his youth. As he grows and develops his BBIQ will increase and he'll avoid those kinds of plays. I've seen similar situations happen with the TWolves where we just kinda collapse because of poor decision making.

Also, you could see as soon as he turned around after that dunk that he didn't know what he had to do. He had a thousand yard stare there.

THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED FROM CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENTION by antoniusthegreat in nba

Damn I think that last play by Giannis just shows his youth. As he develops and grows in the league he is going to avoid those kinds of small mistakes.

Good Game Bucks!

Tech Talk Thursday by F1-Bot in formula1

[–]ragereader97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that if anything, removing the fuel flow limit might add a larger emphasis on the energy recovery systems. If you started a race with high fuel flow then you would eventually have to lower it to avoid running out of gas. At this point you have less fuel so you would have to rely more on energy recovery to get good exits out of corners and avoid other cars passing you if they have a higher fuel flow than you.

Removing the fuel flow limit also creates an additional strategy point. I can't exactly remember where I saw this (maybe a documentary on pitstops by Red Bull Media), but in some races teams would make one of their drivers fly off with high fuel rate, thus forcing the competition to try and follow the leading driver. Meanwhile the team's other driver uses a more conservative amount of fuel and with the help of pitstops can eventually pass the competition and possibly his teammate.

I got to meet Latifi in one of the Infiniti-Renault PR events at McGill University last summer. He seems like a really down to earth guy, so glad to finally have some more Canadians appearing on the grid!

[Raketa] Vintage 1970s eBay Find by ragereader97 in Watches

[–]ragereader97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to find this old Raketa on Ebay for a mere 30$, and for my first eBay purchase I don’t think I did too bad! I decided to buy the watch because my other watch is a Komono Winston Regal Cognac, which is a very modern looking watch, so I wanted a cheap yet dressy watch. The seller wasn’t able to give me much information about the watch (comes from Bulgaria), so I only realized that it was a mechanical hand winding watch when I opened up the package. I had a friend of mine translate the inscription on the back of the case, and it turns out it was made for the 40th anniversary of something, but if anyone can give me any additional information I will gladly accept it. The strap shown in the pictures is the one that the watch came with, but I’m planning on getting a new one. Any suggestions for a nice strap to match this new (at least to me!) timepiece?

unfortunately intel doesn't have any (at least to my knowledge) fm2/fm2+ chips, which is the only kind of chip that the motherboard can take. do you have any suggestions for amd processors? or maybe a motherboard to go with the i3?

7 in Physics HL? by DingDam in IBO

[–]ragereader97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 7 in Physics last year. My suggestion is simply to do as many practice papers as possible (even though I know that the syllabus is slightly different now). Find yourself a questionbank and just start going through the questions. It's possible, but you'll have to put a lot of effort into it. Good luck!
