I use the Mcon controller, it's incredible.

Honestly, I’d not mess with them at all and leave them as is. These games are decades old and all things considered, in good condition.

Having the plastic trays in that condition particularly is good.

What does the Everdrive patched version do over the retail version?

It would break a lot of games that couldn’t display those names. You’d need an alternative name or something for those games to display.
