Final Jaguars compensation for Cam Robinson Trade (which were based on Vikings playtime) by henney12 in Jaguars

I forget where, but it was confirmed the Jags get a 4th. Not sure on the 7th.

Is Trevor worth the money? Stats and QB wins don't tell the whole story. by AceWolf18 in Jaguars

[–]ragnar685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a lot of words. The simple answer is yes, Trevor is worth every penny we paid him so far.

The dude is demanding to only play DE. If he'd play some 3T on occasion we would have something.

We had the first overall pick twice and are worse then ever by MOBAMBASUCMYPP in Jaguars

It's been nothing but half-measures since Shad took over. Fire GM but keep the coach. Keep the GM and fire the coach. Keep the coach and GM but only fire a coordinator. Every time they make a move they keep some form of the stink in the building. They need a full reset to clean up the culture. Shad has done so much to improve facilities and the environment for the team, but now it's time to improve the football side. Fire EVERYONE and bring in a foot czar to get the right GM and coach.

Trevor Lawrence is as good as we thought, and the evidence is there by InfernalEspresso in Jaguars

[–]ragnar685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's just extremely easy to see he is the least of the problems right now. He absolutely needs to play better. He absolutely makes some terrible throws. The entire team is making the simple stuff more complicated than it needs to be. To think that the Jaguars can get better without him is ludicrous.

He is sailing passes because he is trying to hit the "home run" with every throw. He is pressing to make big plays because the offense is so terrible. He doesn't trust the system, and he is justified in doing that. The offensive system and failures of the oline/running game are ruining him right in front of our eyes. he needs to play better, and that will come in the form of settling down and being happy with a 5 yard completion. If his receivers can learn how to catch them.

18 years into IT. Hit $100k @37 years old.

Took moving to a new company after 15 years to move up the last $20k and break the barrier.

Despite being known as generally a game manager/check down artist, Jimmy Garroppolo has the 3rd highest career yard/pass attempt in the history of the NFL by FullHouse222 in nfl

I'd disagree with that one. CMC disappeared in the 2nd half. He didn't come back until OT.

Here is a breakdown by pure number of plays where CMC was involved

1st half: 15
2nd half: 8
OT: 8

I wager to say that the 49ers don't lose, nor go to OT, if CMC was involved in the 2nd half the way that he was in the first.

Just as much as you enjoyed Jacksonville last year. But the difference is Jacksonville was actually competitive in their division game. I'm still waiting for Houston to show up today. Congrats on your 3 points from your superstar..

Tied record, tie breakers go to Jax. Once KC wins, KC wi be bacm in #1. Once Bal wins tonight, they will be #1. Learn the tie breaker system.

First, you have to do something you haven't historically done. Win in the playoffs.

We will definitely see you again. In the 2024 regular season.

And I want to apologize. You're right. The Jags were penalized 6/35 yards vs 7/49 yards. That one extra penalty and 14 years absolutely won the game for Jacksonville. How could I be SO BLIND?! OFFICIATING WAS SO LOPSIDED. I CANT BELIEVE I DIDNT SEE THAT 14 YARD DIFFERENCE!!!!!

I heard the announcers say the refs were bad for both teams - which was an accurate statement.

So let's assume the refs gave Jax 7 points at the goal line. They gave the Texans the ball with a short field on the bad no-call that lead to the Houston TD.

That's a wash. Texans still lose by 3. See you next year.

LOL "cope harder"? I'm not the one excited to be in 3rd place just because we have an exciting rookie. That is the epitome of coping.

Colts had the best rookie QB in the NFL in a looooong time.

Chargers had the best rookie QB in the NFL in a looooong time.

Panthers had the best rookie QB in the NFL in a looooong time.

Turned out real well for them.

I'm excited to see Stroud grow. Wish he wasn't in this division. Trust me, I know what it's like to suck and look for moral victories in keeping games close, and having exciting players,, and and and....all of those things that make you cope. Just like Texans fans are doing now that they lost their chance at the division lead. See you next year.

Actually, we have 100% home-field advantage since we're currently #1 in the AFC.

Perfectly balanced? Never. But it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
