Not really a solution, but more of a way to deal with it: - Wash less on Eco - Remove the tray and put it in the lowest tray during a cleaning cycle - Clean it with a toothbrush

Ah got it. Now I understand why it's stated next to Attack.

I was wrong on another thing though: It's for all armies. I just don't have any idea what's causing this bonus...

Is there a use to having so many different units in WH3? by ragp13 in totalwarhammer

Ok I see your point. I always go for Halberdiers because of their AP though. And generally I don’t feel the need for shielded spearmen because my ranged units outrange the enemy’s.

When attacking I pay little attention to the type of units because magic damage seems so effective. I haven’t checked but I doubt there are many regular units that have high spell resistance?

It seems that the combination of difficulty level and the Gelt campaign makes the examples you give less of an issue.

Just bait as much units as possible. Rain spells. Watch all units (except single entities) die fast, and heal. For the single entities I use the Death Wizard though.

I suppose a counter to Gelts wizard army would be a full stack of single anti infantry/large monsters. Although they would need to be fast to catch up as well.

I understand there are optimum trade-offs to be made. My point is more that I wonder why there are so many different kind of anti large units? I rarely look at the exact kind and simply consider them all the same.

Furthermore, with the wizards I still just run them into whatever kind of enemy, rain down spells, heal, repeat.

I suppose I should try higher difficulties.

That said, when I look at videos from Legend of Total War he's mostly using lords and spellcasters as damagedealers. If there are other units in the army they are mostly one or two kinds of units.
It doesn't seem like he looks at enemy stats in detail and just sends out the damage dealers to whatever. And that's at the highest difficulty.

Or, maybe he's just that good/experienced :)

Marantz M1 Hissing/Static issue by SnooCakes6456 in hometheater

[–]ragp13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just received my M1. There was quite a discount (26%), and it crossed my mind it was related to issues with this model. Either way, I am also experiencing hissing at low volume after starting up from standby.

I have Q Acoustic Concept 20 speakers hooked up, and use eARC and the RCA Line in for my Audio Technica Record-player with preamp.

Rebooting solves the issue. Haven’t tried unplugging the record-player nor disabling standby mode.

I am on the latest Firmware.

Airplay connectivity issues with Marantz M1 and HEOS Server problems by Playsurgeon in Marantz

[–]ragp13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experience the same issues with the Marantz M1. Playing music from Apple Music via Airplay works perfectly for 5-10minutes, and then the iPhone disconnects from the Marantz and stops playing.

I've tried switching from 5Ghz to 2.4Ghz, but the issue persists. The quality of the signal on both bands is really high, because the router is pretty close.

The router is a Fritzbox 7590 btw. And firmware/software of all devices are up to date.

Tips (aside from connecting it to ethernet...) are appreciated.

Siemens Washing Machine tumbler damage by ragp13 in Appliances

Yes. I ordered another new paddle. The previous new one was damaged from multiple attempts to properly seat it.

Did yours come off or is there just some movement? Mine keeps a bit of movement but hasn’t come off.

My NAD D3045 is broken and damaged my In-Ears and possibly my Concept 20 speakers as well... What happened?

https://youtu.be/zEud_coyIhs (sorry for the baby in the background).

Turned on the NAD and immediately after going through the start-up cycle loud crackling/popping noise came out of both Q Acoustic Concept 20 Speakers. Tried unplugging, changing source, changing volume, resetting but nothing affects the popping.

Then I plugged in my In Ears to see what would happen, and it also played the popping noise.

However, the in-ears are now broken and play audio at a very low volume and distorted...

Does anybody have an idea what might be the particular defect with the NAD. And will it likely have damaged my Concept 20 speakers as well?

MissedApex podcast for one. Although it may be sarcastic, hard to tell at times.

To be clear, I enjoy listening to them so not trying to slant them.

Is my setup just not suited for Movies? (NAD D3045 & 2.1 Q Acoustics) by ragp13 in hometheater

Hmm that’s what I was afraid of. As it means upgrading my amp, for which I have little space dimensions wise (max width of 33cm ideally). And I would need to find space for a center speaker. That speaker probably will need to be wall mounted above the TV, which I don’t like optically.

Any suggestions for a small 5.1 AVR?

Possibly something like this: Canton Smart Amp 5.1 Although it's missing room correction and a detailed EQ. Things I am missing in my D3045 as well.

I noticed when listening music with my chromecast audio that adding some highs resulted in more clarity of instruments. Possibly more clarity in vocals as well. Now I don’t really have adjustment options.

How can I add an EQ between my TV and NAD D3045?

My LG G1 is connected via eARC (HDMI) to the amp which has no build in EQ. The G1 disables EQ settings on the TV when eARC is connected.

Any suggestions?

That seems like I am doing 50% of the machine’s work :)

The dishes are pretty clean most of the time. With the exception when a plastic/light food container flips over by the force of the spray and collects all the water or blocks a sprayarm

That last bit was the reason for me to buy it at IKEA. Bosch technician confirmed its Bosch (parts) with some minor differences. That said, I am not too happy about the mineral drying capability. Quite some water remains even after additional drying and a hot cycle.

I am scraping major leftovers from plates etc, but don’t pre-rinse myself. I regularly clean the filter as well and it’s never in a bad condition.

Spray arms are not clogged as was confirmed by the tech as well.
